Feels great to know you have all the help and encouragement you need at your fingertips ... Congrats and keep on keepin on ...

Hey everyone. I'm another Kimkins fan. Just to think a few short months ago I never dreamed I'd actually never have to shop in Lane Bryant or Roamans again. LOL

Honestly Goodwill must love me I've gone through 5 sizes. The first time I bought a size 12 tears came to my eyes ... they looked so small. Not to mention going from a 38DDD to a 36DD... whew what a load off of the chest

Anyway good luck on your losses.

Jenna & Chrhs5, you are both amazing! I'd love to have the type of success that the two of you have had thus far.

Chrhs5, our starting stats are almost identical. 55 lbs down in two months? Wow!

I started Kimkins on June 6th 2007. By July 13th, 2007, I'd lost 54 pounds. I've probably lost a few more since then but I wouldn't know. I've stopped weighing in everyday. I'm only going to weigh in once every two weeks now.

Good luck to all!

Tish

Lovely lady - thats incredible. Did you do K/E the whole time or did you do Kimkins? Thats exciting. Keep going girl! Oh and what did you eat for protein choices, I'm trying to figure out if some people do better cutting out the red meat.

I do not know if this is going to come out right but here goes. I am new to the kimkins. I started July 15th and today July 19 I am down 6-7 pounds. My scale is not digital so I have to kind of guess when it is in between. I want to be a part of the 100lb+ losers. Sails92 is the one that got me started and I thank God for her. To all of you in this group, keep on keeping on. We can win this war. Take one day at a time and one meal at a time. I really want to succeed at this. I am so excited about all of you because it gives me inspiration from your success. I am glad I found a place to come and share my experience with some others who can relate

Thanks, Erin! As for what I'm doing honestly I just do whichever I feel like doing each day, sometimes it's K/E other times it Kimkins or Boot Camp. See my journal and you'll see!

I started out doing Kimkins for almost a week. I finished the week doing K/E just because I wanted to. Kimkins had already put me in deep ketosis, though, K/E didn't really make much of a difference. All in all I think I have more K/E days than Kimkins or Boot Camp. Some days I feel like veggies and some days I don't.

As for protein choices, I mainly stick to chicken, fish and turkey. I love, love, LOVE pork and beef. Unfortunately they don't love me because I don't lose as quickly or feel as good when I eat them...even the leanest cuts. Because of that I only eat pork and beef maybe once or so, if that.

Tish

PS I list my daily meals in my blog each evening if you'd like to see exactly what I'm eating.

Welcome aboard twin94,

CONGRATULATIONS on your weightloss. That is tremendous for 4 days. The LCF board is full of information and they people are so nice. If it's encouragement, inspiration or even motivation, then you are in the right place. I wish you continued success with reaching your goal and choosing a healthier lifestyle that works for you. In addition, check out the 200lb and 300lb loser threads, girl now that is some inspiration. Oh, don't forget to look at the receipe thread, sometimes you have to mix up the meals so that you don't get board.

Once again,

LadyLove,

Also thank you for sharing your weight loss blog, that is really impressive and encouraging. I just have to ask, what is the peanut butter cup snowcone? I also went on that bread website but it was under construction, so I will check back later. Once again thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Marilyn!

The peanut butter cup snowcone is simply a snowcone that's flavored with sugar free peanut butter cup snowcone syrup.

That notice has been on that website for a while now. The best way to place an order is to call.

Thanks again for your kind words. Many blessings to you as well!

Tish, your menu looks good! I was having an old dry chicken breast, bleh. I'm going to try your snow cone idea. Congratulations on your new baby nephew, that's so exciting!
