Mayonnaise or Dijonnaise?

OK, which is the lesser of two evils? Using mayonnaise (0 carbs, high fat) or dijonnaise (1g carb per teaspoon, 0 fat)?

I was making chicken salad with canned Tyson chicken and mixed it with the dijonnaise because I thought it was the better choice, but now I'm not so sure...

Any thoughts? (Or suggestions on what to use other than those two things?)

Thanks!

I make my tuna salad.. 3.3 can of white albacore tuna with 1 tbl spoon of real mayo. I think its better carb-wise.

I agree. If you are doing Kimkins then you made the right choice.

It also depends on how much you use I use one tbls of dijonaise and one tbls of lowfat mayo usually. One teaspsoon of dijonaise is just not enough for me for a regular can of tuna or chicken.
Some other options are Walden Farms salad dressings, if your grocery carries them. They are 0cal/0 carb and are sucralose(Splenda) sweetened. I'm not in love with any of thier flavors plain, but I mix them with other things, especially the Creamy Bacon one. Also, although Kimkins cuts out the dairy, I sometimes use 1 tbls sour cream(1 carb) with dijonaise in chicken.
I guess I've learned to get creative, haha.

I have used a receipe that I found on this website and I believe it equaled to 4 carbs per tablespoon but I use only 1 teaspoon.

Spicy L/C Dressing Dip
¾ cup FF Mayonnaise
¼ cup FF Spicy Mustard
¼ tsp Caynne Pepper
¼ tsp Garlic Powder
3 Packets of Splenda

Mix all ingriedents and chill in frig – total carbs 4

Thanks, everyone!

I am doing kimkins right now, so I guess the dijonnaise was right, but I seemed to need a lot of it. Maybe I'll try the mayo/dijo combo next time... Can't find the Walden Farms dressings here... have one more store to check - keeping fingers crossed!

Appreciate the help!

I use either Best Foods real or Kraft Fat-Free, depending on if I want the fat calories or not. To me, Best Foods is what "real" mayo should taste like, and the Kraft FF comes the closest in taste of any of the knock-offs.
