No coffee for the next few days...

Well, today is Day 15 for me and I'm down 11lbs. While I am super thrilled with the loss, I have only lost 1.6lbs of that weight since SUNDAY! I have not had the slightest cheat. The only difference is that the first week I was only drinking water and green tea. This second week, I have had coffee as well.

I know coffee doesn't stall very many people but I'm going to avoid it until Monday at least and substitute green tea like I did the first week. We'll see if it helps!

Well, LOL...I couldn't hack it. I needed the coffee too much. I went two days and seemed even hungrier. However, I have had another little loss of .6lbs.

From last Sunday to this Sunday, I'm down 2.2lbs (and a total of 12.2lbs since June 20th).

Hello Daisy73.....Use to drink 1-2 cups (8ozs.) of coffee a day prior to joining K/E program......Now I have limited myself to only 4-6ozs of coffee in the morning.....Just enough to take my vitamins and get that umph in the morning - LOL.....Oh, and I also only use splenda, FF/SS coffee cream and a squirt of davinci SF carmel or SF vanilla coffee syrup for flavor.

Sails - You are doing so awesome!

I have been able to cut back from two cups in the morning to just one cup.
Other than that, I have a bit of green tea during the day.

Do any of you find that caffine kicks you out of ketosis or makes you go lighter in ketosis? I am starting to wonder if it does? I have done great this whole time but when I have coffee the sticks read slightly lighter? So its either because I am hydrated or coffee makes you lighter on the sticks. Anyone else tested a little while after drinking coffee? Maybe I should have decaf? Let me know your opinion.

It does not bother me. I still lose while drinking coffee but everyone is different.

I am one of those that coffee would make me stall,of course I was used to drinking a pot of coffee a day.I cut back to 2 cups and the weight started to come off again. If I increase the cups my weight loss slows down.Remember, there are carbs in the coffee(can't recall how many though).

Well I think caffeine is one of those YMMV things that you have to test for yourself..for me I have 1 - 1 1/2 cups of coffee a day and I am not stalling, I think the coffee is one of those things that helps me (keeps me regular, sorry TMI) and I find that just a little goes a long way, I too used to be a pot of coffee a day person, but I have so much energy now I don't need it...so i say test it out for yourself and see if it works for you.
