Menstrual and Ketosis

I have been eating exactly what I should and have been checking daily on my progress with ketosis. I notice Tuesday I was out of ketosis and my lady days have started, my question is do these two things go hand and hand.

That's a good question. I'll be checking for someone to answer.

I don't trust those strips.....do you still feel like you're in ketosis? (stinky breath, no appetite?)

I don't have TOM anymore, but when I did, my sticks NEVER turned purple during that time. I don't think it means that you're out of ketosis, I just think that the monthly hormonal thing messes up the readings.

WOE: Low Carb, my way!
Yes, I have noticed every time I induct my periods change. I have also heard or read somewhere that your body (women) will not allow release of stored fats during menses. I also noticed increased cramping and discomfort the first few months on LC too. Hang in there!
