I remember the day she left-- it wasn't really an event, moreso just a huge brawl in a thread. I can't even remember what about. But it got super hostile, everyone attacked Kimmer and she gave her typical responses back.... I'm not sure how the thread lasted as long as it did but I kept refreshing every few minutes to watch the trainwreck go on. Then, she said she was leaving, and the thread was deleted. For a while people kept posting "for kimmer" threads not realizing what had happened. It was quite exciting at the time

Can someone PM me the link to see the pictures of her?? Or is it only in the magazine?

Does this mean "Kimmer" will never be seen on Oprah plugging her plan or any possible book deals?

There seem to be tons of screen shots of this woman all over the Intertubes, and none of them look like her. The one in the middle with the frosted hair could be her, but Red Dress and Leopard Spots - there's just no way.

I'm glad you asked this because this thread has cleared up some questions I had. The threads always seem to poof before I get to exactly what it was about the pictures that people didn't trust. I was never sure if the new photos were doubted or the before. After reading through this thread and having seen only 2 before pictures, I'm personally wondering about both the before AND afters. I take very few photos, but if I got to goal and felt good enough about myself to post my stats and what I was eating, I'd feel good enough to take more photos. If being self conscience is the issue, I have a hard time imagining someone posting their personal weight loss story, before photo and eating journal.

oh, that wasn't all I'll say about it. She also constantly told people that they didn't need to exercise. Sorry, but the human body was not meant to be sedentary. Just because SHE lost weight without exercising is no reason to instruct others, with the air of an expert, that they don't need to exercise.

I found a Myspace for Kimmer and she uses the third pictureon there. My question, on Myspace she said she was 37 and the page was set up in Febuary of this year. Didn't she always say she was in her 40's?

On another board someone raised the question - Kimmer always claimed she fasted one weekend a month since she was a teen. Then how could she get to 300 pounds? He said she obviously has self control in her eating patterns.

I probably didn't put it out the way he did and it was pretty good they way he explained it.

I feel that she's made herself a 'public figure' therefore subject to the same scrutiny.

I got my hand slapped more than once for trying to argue some of her "logic", so I just left. I was pleased to see she had moved on.

She didn't just imply I didn't have enough willpower. She even accused me of lying about what I was eating when I posted menus. Yes, I believe she's dangerous.

That was my point and I actually typed in about Paris but left it alone lol. We debate WW, SB, Atkins all the time, dont' see why we can't debate her WOE. If a person believes in something so strongly, what other people say shouldn't sway them.. e.g religion.

LOL there was another poster who advocated just drinking hot water with lemon for weeks on end. I had a go at her and mysteriously the post disappeared. Why because I debated that drinking water as a way of losing weight was bad and they weren't firm enough in their beliefs to cop the flack.

her eating plan is a crock of....

no one can eat that way for their rest of their life. diets fail. lifestyle changes dont. no way in hell i would even consider eating kimkins for the rest of my life. BOOOOOORING. and it looks like it would promote an eating disorder, at a previous poster stated.

Don't see what the big deal is~ it's just a reworked version of Stillman's~ and 40 years ago, when it was first published, there were some serious health issues attributed to the diet~

Of course, not many here actually remember when Stillman's was new~
