The original controversy about Kimmer was that she insisted she started at over 300 pounds when her photo didn't look near that big.

The blue eyes/brown eyes thing is weird.

The "blue" eyes in that pic are obviously painted - that entire picture is a terrible PhotoShop job, it looks like a 5 year old did it.

Can a plastic sturgeon make a nose longer? the leopard painting the
nose looks longer, picture # 3 and # 4 aren't even close in resemblance,
# 2 and the leopard might look close if it weren't for the nose being
longer and the face longer, it does look like someone tried to make
# 2 into a painting but got some of the features wrong (nose, face
length. # 3 & # 4 are strangers, different noses, too, # 4 looks like
she has a slight chin dimple, too. Kind of weird, I'd be embarrassed!

But that photo may not have been her at her biggest...just a photo of her when she was big. I know some folks just make certain they are out of the way when any cameras are pulled out, so she might possibly not have had a photo of herself when she was at her largest size and heaviest weight. She wouldn't be the first to not have her most obese self photographed.

The pics may or may not be all of her. I do know that professional makeup and hair styling, lighting and photographing, and the touching up of those photos, can make anyone look better/worse/blonde/not-so-blonde/smooth skin/beginning to wrinkle, etc. and even so different that they only slightly appear to resemble the person you once saw a picture of.

Regardless of it all, Kimmer spent several years here answering questions over and over and over and allowing everyone to pour over her fitday entries. She freely told her story and why she took the weight loss path that she chose and that worked for her. And she freely shared her methods and beliefs with anyone who wanted to pick her brain. And anyone was able to go her route to weight loss or not. We all decide whether we want it badly enough to make enough of an effort to actually succeed and how we will proceed toward our weight loss goal.

She freely admitted that her "ideas" and her "Kimmer's" eating plan was strongly based on the written plans of others before her (Atkins, Stillman) and they weren't the first with their ideas either.

I am happy to see that she has been able to develop her work into the start of a business that may or may not succeed greatly...only time will tell...but I certainly don't begrudge her anything. She actually went out and shed the fat, and she actually shared how she did it with all of us freely, and she actually went on to turn it into a business. Good for her. There may be some people out there who will follow her direction and find it is the right weight loss regimen for them.

Some of you are saying things that sound like echos of what the press always said of Atkins, such as: "It isn't a diet anyone can stick with for the long term", which always makes us fume since we know that the "diet" part is only for the early months while we're losing the fat. We do actually get to eat a bit more and a few more carbs later, ya' know.

Anyway, just my thoughts. I've seen too many pics of people that didn't look like them, and too many altered pictures that didn't look like them much but were really them.....I just don't think it's this big scam...

i have seen transformations on this board over the years that you would never believe the before and afters were the same person... so why not kimmer?

and as a matter of fact, i have seen members of her site lose 100 lbs in 5 months... if she is a scam... she is a damn good one! whether those are real pics are not, most people are just hatin on her because she is making money off what we already know! jmho!!!

I won't go quite that far. a lot of people have a problem with the way she treated so many that had differing opionions. now, does that make HATE ok? no, but I'm just saying, don't assume it's jealousy. sure, there could be some, but I think the majority of people that have issues with her it is not because of jealousy (IMO)

I questioned her once and got slammed for questioning her. She was very condescending to me but why wouldn't she be when I questioned her authenticity? Anyway, I never bought into her "plan" which advocated NOT exercising, fasting and using laxatives. Although I have tried some of these extreme measures on my own, I do not advocate them. Anyway, I always thought there was something fishy. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

trust me i had my run ins with her too.. and she acted like i was making a mortal sin if i drank alcohol and lc'd at the same time... and i have seen her do her "holier than thou/ talk down" bit... but... im just sayin

I'm sure there are some out there, I wasn't saying there arent. I was just saying not to be so quick to those that have something against her that is is from jealousy. honestly, I think for most, it is from the way they were treated or saw her treat others, NOT from jealousy.
