Let me think about it ok. I think I'm going to blog about this subject, not about Kim personally but about a somewhat larger issue this just examples, I'll get back to you. In the meantime I'm sure others here have ideas! :-)

I would love to hear more about this from your perspective. You have been very fair. One of the few who really has been in my opinion. And you are clearly brilliant (no, I'm not trying to suck-up in any way but I would kill to know what your IQ is?!

Because I'm pretty sure I read that Catherine approached Kimmer and "did all the web work in 18 hour days". She saw an opportunity to make $$$ promoting a surefire thing - a new weightloss guru - and jumped in. As her husband writes it, the doubts began to creep in later, and the partnership ended. So who ended it? And right now her hubby is milking the controversy for all its worth. So far the only voice that HASN'T been heard in all this is Kimmer's. And sometimes explanations incriminate the foolish as well as the con men. I wonder if she'll go through with her Jimmy Moore interview.

Maybe all this hooha will have her suffering such severe nervous strain that she'll be under Dr's orders to cancel all "public" (YKWIM) exposure and recuperate. Then what? I think Jimmy is a somewhat loyal and decent cuss, that his experience and reasons for blogging are altruistic, but that when push comes to shove, will he forgo the $ in favor of doing what he thinks is right, or what WE think is right? To himself be true.

She will apologize...she honestly thought she could handle it, but it turns out she can't. She will leave another member in charge of Kimkins...someone hand-picked...the diet board can go on without her. The Kimkins plan can speak for itself at this point, right? Then "Kimmer" will drop out of sight.

Call me cynical but that is how I see this going down. She gets out of it, never has to answer any of these questions, and keeps the money.

She has made her million.

Really, what more can she ask for from this experience.

I was just examining Slamboard's version of the Kimkins partnership affair again, and was puzzled -again!- by this unusual statement. See if you see what I see.

"# Heidi Diaz is the name that was on the PayPal account to which Kimmer’s share of the website profits were deposited."

So, my reading is that someone else was in charge of handling the finances, and that Kimmer/Heidi got what the financial manager deemed suitable. If Catherine also managed all the Paypal stuff and affiliate stuff (she approached Jimmy, BTW) , perhaps there is a reason the partnership dissolved so quickly while it was still making so much money. As one famous dude remarked - Follow the money!

Ah, methinks there is enough mud to throw around.

Well actually does anyone remember when she left LCF she told everyone to direct their further questions to Amy/Cutie? However since she has since banned Amy from kimkins, I'm assuming someone else will have to take over. This prediction does sound right on though... some way for her to get out of it without facing up to the fraud issues.
