Although...to play devil's advocate here...if she was going to perpetuate some grand fraud, you'd think she'd at least be smart enough to get one person to pose for all the "after" pics...a thin friend, for example...

Internet scams happen all the time - who are you going to sue? A woman who goes by the name of Kimmer? How do we know she even lives in the US?

I was posting in one of the threads a few weeks ago, or whenever it was. The point i tried to make was that all the after pics looked like different people. People kept arguing with me about how after losing 100 lbs nobody recognizes them either.

Duh. Of course you look different after 100 lbs (but still, not THAT different), but it was the AFTER pics, no weight difference, that looked different. Nobody that was defending her could grasp that concept.

I look at it like this. If i am paying someone ( my accountant, my lawyer, my doctor, my interior decorator) they better be certified, or educated, or a portfolio, you get my drift.

and if they aren't, then they give me the advice for free. She is charging, like a professional, and what does she have to back it up? she is not a nutritionist, or certified (that i know of?) and so her pics, that is what she has to back it up. Her personal success. And if the pics are (by chance) not real, then how can she charge people?

With the media attention, if she is committing fraud it will be proven. Then either her members will sue her company or the DOJ would get involved. I'm making the assumption that she has an actual company, incorporated, paying taxes, etc.

Not necessarily. If, in the fine print, she is charging for access to her website, and then provides access to her website, she can't be touched. Legally, she's not charging for advice.

At least that's how I understand it, I've not been to her site nor do I intend to go.
