Cryssi, If you guys decide on Iowa, try for the northwest corner of the state. I'm in southeast SD, so we could get together!

People do lose amazingly fast on Kimmer. It's true. Some do lose 15 pounds the first week. Many lose a pound a day for a month or two straight. Maintenance is hard on any plan after losing weight.

I adore Sugarfreesheila, but she has never been that overweight compared to me and a lot of others and is also pretty young with no health problems I have seen mentioned. It's a more desperate situation to lose weight when you are 200 or 300 or more pounds, diabetic, low thyroid, and much older. Atkins stops working for some people. Kimkins fits the ticket for many of us, dishonest marketing or not.

I was born in Iowa and have relatives there. It's a beautiful state in my opinion, a very peaceful and economical place to live. I am disconcerted, though, that so many are moving there and sitting their ugly huge houses and huge mowed and chemicaled lawns on prime farmland. If you move there, please try to respect the environment. Check out the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation on inhf.org for more info. If you are ever lucky enough to see a virgin prairie, it will knock your socks off!

I asked for a refund too (m)..

I just did it. I have been going back and forth between here and there and am finding that yes, I get what I need from here and I cannot do K/E anymore, it's too restrictive. I have been on this two weeks come Wednesday and yes, I've lost 7.5 lbs, but the last week has been more "Atkins", the first week was strictly K/E - but I cannot eat that way anymore (KE). I need the variety in my diet that Atkins gives me. So....I'm certainly going to continue what I'm doing, but I am going TO DO IT HERE! THANKS - I'll let you know her response. I'm VERY dissapointed ...........The thing is, I wish I could have "seen" the diet before I joined, then I'd have known it was just too restrictive.

Mermaid, I can understand what you are saying. But you obviously weren't taking her advice of "Being better off not eating for the week" and other such crazy "out there" advice she has given. Those are things that people also remember.

It's about her being accountable. Which part of her plan and which part of her advice? Maybe you can "Glean" through all that, take the good advice and have your own plan that works, but isn't that Mermaidkins? What about those that don't know better? Who is going to protect them?

Shouldn't a person with a paid site be accountable for what they say, and be held to a standard of telling the truth with their claims?

ETA: For some reason I posted Mavis and it was "Mermaid". I need to correct that. Sorry about that. lol

Tooter, you are so right on on this whole thread. I am sick about all of the people who were so desperate (I have been that desperate as well) to believe in someone, something. Now, because of her own greediness, she has been exposed. I feel for everyone.

well i just wanted to say Congrats to scandolyglam you loo awesome! Mermaid you are right that there seems to feel like more despartion whne you have 200 lbs to loose but i have found that for myself 10lbs is just had hard to lose! infact any amount of wieght is hard and takes alot from someone to achieve you just have to be acountable for yourself! i know that as i am losing my weight all 207 lbs of it so far im at 40 lbs, when i told my cousin she was like wow i thought it was alot more i didnt think it was only 40lbs! i was like ONLY! but i guess there is a stigma that goes along with more than a few or even once you get into triple digits!

But it is really just Stillman's if you take away the fasting, right? You can get all the information you want on Stillman's all over the internet, without paying anything.

Did you trying requesting a third password? And did you see the tip upthread about copying and pasting the password directly into the login?

I wouldn't be surprised if your account was cancelled after last night, but, surely you would be notified somehow if that was the case.

And what a shame you didn't use Paypal! At least with Paypal you can file a complaint.

I'm sorry but the Kimkins program is electronic media and
non-refundable.

why are you starving? There's no food limit, what's important
is that you keep carbs very, very low.
