I should have asked for one the second I could log on, but wanted to keep it around thinking more was going to be added to it. This may work for some people, I just feel really stupid for paying that kind of money and getting nothing in return. There is nothing helpful on that webpage that you can't find in here for free. This is just my opinion. I basically paid for a chat forum.

Yeah, but Kim/Heidi lives in Southern California. It's expensive. That's why my husbnad and I moved. We couldn't even afford to rent a cardboard box out there

Although now I am considering Iowa, I would love to have low rent like that!

WOW! I just got finished reading several of these posts! So ridiculous.
I tried to do Kimkins for a week, but Atkins is such an easier/more practical WOE... something that you can actually stick to for life.

I think that Sugar Free Sheila's site offers MUCH better & healthier advice, lots of REAL pictures of herself, answers everyones questions promptly and honestly, and doesn't charge people $60 (!!!!!) to visit. She's a true LC role model

and it's sad that Kimkins got all this hype instead.

This morning when I was going over the web page I couldn't find anything about refunds. But I was in a hurry. I can't log on from work because I can't remember my password....LOL....

When I read the article in WW I was so excited, but should have known better. I should have come back to this good ole faithful forum and read the thread for the "diet" and saved me $60.

I guess I was looking at the quick fix and not the long term of it.........Lesson learned, I guess.

At one time, there was a 24 hour refund policy, posted on the main page.. That was taken off when the new site went up, along with the 'personal coaching from Kimmer', tho she had all but stopped her 'personal couching' before that and it was taken over by Christin and Becky {a mod} and any memebr who cared to help out...

I live in portland maine and have a 1.5 bedroom (the .5 is a room I use as a bedroom but technically it's not cause there is no closet, sposed to be a living room) $700/mo +$300/mo for heat and Electricity...

I think she is only refunding the people that paid only $16 to join. Watch the people that really forked over the $60 not get a response or their money back. I really don't understand why she is charging this entire people for the free info we get here. I mean just by her doing that really ticks me off because you have more genuine bogglers like sugerfreesheila and Linda Sue wish both I just adore have their own websites for the purpose of just to help yes sugarfree sheila sales her cook books but not a membership and god knows that as soon as I can I will be ordering from her just to support her and because she has some awesome recopies posted for free. Any ways my point is that this women have proof that they have successes doing the lc way and have the proof to show for it, just their before and after are such an inspiration. What does Kimmer have to show for but people here that trusted her followed her to show support and all for someone that is such a fraud she just saw a way to gets people's money, becouse I doubt she has their good intentions at heart, maybe here she once did but know its just greed.

And she is REAL too. By real I mean, she tells it like it is. She soes what she calls a fun day where she eats what she wants. She clearly states, it's what works for her. She doesn't bad maouth people who chose to vary their plans to make it work for them. She is always polite and as helpful as her experience allows (which, IMO is a lot). I have emailed her through her site before and she was very prompt and informative in her answer. And it was about a stove top grill thingy she reccommended on her site, not even about Atkins or low-carbing.

Hehe...it DOES help that we're renting it w/ the option to buy from my fiance's uncle. All of our rent payments are going towards the cost of the house, so when we buy it in 2008, we'll buy it for 50k. The midwest is relatively cheap!!! The lady who rented our house before was paying 300/mo but that was way too low they realized.
