Affiliate marketing is definitely not the same as multi-level. It basically amounts to getting your banners out there, and people who "click-through" generate a bonus for the person who hosted the banner on their site.

Apparently some affiliates are making more than the 25% now offered. Archives.org has pages cached from last year when she was offering new affiliates 30-40% commission. I doubt they'd settle for less as she grew.

In that case I won't be visiting Jimmy Moore's blog anymore or googling "Kimkins" since most of the sites that turn up have direct links to the official Kimkins website, inlcuding the ones that say "Kimkins diet review.".

There's nothing wrong with affiliate marketing. It's a good channel of revenue for many businesses.

I don't believe that "all publicity is good publicity", look at what happened to Tom Cruise's career/popularity. Also, I highly doubt ANYONE will pay $60 to just have a "look around". You must remember that all the Kimmer diet info is on LCF for free, no need to run from this thread to join her site.

Yes, I can see the draw for the moment but if she's publically "outed" as a fraud...how much do you think she would enjoy that kind of attention? Think of the hate mail and money lost and possible suits against her. That sounds like a nightmare to me. Wouldn't she be better off coming clean so she can explain and protect her reputation, grow her business and keep her money?

I didn't say there was anything illegal or "wrong" with it, but I don't want to support an unhealthy diet by visiting websites that are tied to it. And here is why I think it is a scam. Anyone can lose weight by cutting back on calories enough. It's called STARVATION. I have looked at all the B&A's on Kimkins and some of those people were not that overweight in the first place. It's like some of them went from "normal" to anorexic!

60,219 views of this thread. And IMO this is NOT good publicity. Who couldn't doubt her and who would pay her $60 after reading this thread?

Even if they still believe in Kimkins (another topic entirely IMO) now people know they can get all her tips and threads on doing it here--plus support from other people doing it.

Yes, all the info is here, but everyone doesnt' know this. I am not saying that people from here are joining. I mean people who are curious from WW or "celebrity diet" stufff... etc...

I am at the goal I set but thought about changing to kimkins to lose another 10lbs but decided to do some research before I made the decision and ran upon this thread. I won't be doing this its to much controversy plus we really don't know the real story behind this woe. The moral decline of America is at a all time low and we are doing anything for personal gain no matter how it affects people. It dose not matter that we are adults that are able to make decisions based upon the information given us we all can be duked. Adam and Eve was duked and the whole world paid the consequence for this. God will hold us accountable for the decisions that we make and no one is a better judge then God. I think I will stay with my current plan and tweek it to get where I want to be.

Why do people keep saying this? There are many facts here, supported by visual evidence that SHE herself posted. We simply pointed out the differences in what she said in various places, and the obvious differences in the pics. How is that not fact?

But what evidence??? This really is all speculation at this point. I have yet to see any evidence! Yes, I understand everyone is frustrated but this is all still just conjecture. That is what I noticed about her response. She is treating it like it is a joke and it is funny. All these people are questioning her integrity and she thinks it is funny? I think that says a lot.

Hi Cheryl!!

I am in the same boat here. So many secrets seem to be making something so "innocent" as advise on a WOE into something so unbelievable. I too have done well on K/E...since I do not eat veggies, it was just like a lower fat m/e thing for me. She hammered home to me that calories matter, and I was off and running. I have been on a merry-go-round lately, but that is my own fault, not anything to do w/ too low of calories.
