That would explain the offers to un-ban Deni and Christin, as she needs someone to "run" the site after she's hightailed it outta there .

back Abbymommy! You are to be commended being able to read for the last few days with four little ones in the house.

Yes it has been some journey and all the LCF members have done a great job at uncovering the truth. It also has been a shock to see how far this has gone.

Hopefully all the injured parties will be compensated and the word will get out in cyper-space as to the dangers of this WOE.

I feel badly for all the people that signed up for the cruise .... hopefully they will be able to back out and get their deposit back (if they want to cancel). I wonder how many people signed up for it...

As a thyroid sufferer I found this question quite relevant.

Ask Kimmer!

Quote:
Kimmer - re: Thyroid Function
I've been reading the "Barely Eating" thread and around page 3 it gets off into the subject of diminished thyroid function from carb and calorie restriction. I've never seen anything about this in any of your threads. If that were a frequent result of Low Carb/Low Calorie/Water Fasting dieting, wouldn't it have shown up in Stillman's, Atkin's, or Fuhrman's writings?
For 3 pages and a day the question gets ignored so he asks again on the 12th.

Kimmer responds:

Quote:
ThxDrA, I haven't followed the Barely Eating thread,
Cutie:
Quote:
you might want to consider checking it out...on the first page you asked jackie a very specific question and she gave you a very specific answer as did others.
Kimmer:
Quote:
f it's more of our usual threads with the 100+ carb a day people defending their positions, I'm not interested. I'll stick with low carb.
Cutie:
Quote:
oh, you did see my post...since you posted at the same time as me, i thought you might not see it & just sent you a PM.

i understand where you're coming from, but why ask a question if you don't go back to see the answer they gave you?
After using the word 'fastecious' in a post only as a reply to Cutie.
Cutie thinks it's a name for her (gosh cutie....troublemaker, how many more nicknames do you have *joking*!)

Kimmer:
Quote:
Ha! I wasn't calling you facetious, I was identifying my reason for posting in the Barely Eating thread, LOL.

It's the same reason I don't post in every Starvation Mode. Can you say "regurgitation"? None of us say anything different. Everyone gets mad. No one changes their opinion. It's pretty much a waste of energy.
So to quick recap, Someone asks a LEGIT question about a condition she has and could potentialy be caused by too low diets in carbs and calories.
  • She asks a question at the 'barely eating' thread
  • Gets an anwer
  • but chooses to ignore it

If I were on the amount of meds she claims to be I WOULD go back and find out what the effects on Thyroid health diets low cal and lowest carb have.
Not only for me but for the people whom I have been advising for weeks/months.

Btw, Cutie. What was the 'barely eating' thread?

But she implied that they were formal foster kids when she said she needed money for them as they were turning 18 and needed transition money. So I'm not sure we can give her the benefit of the doubt.
Her foster children and their/her need for money for their care has always been suspect. Foster parents in California receive monthly payments from the state for the care of the children and the children also receive free medical benefits. Moreover, California has programs to assist children in transitioning to independent living when they have "aged" out the system.

As for her being a CASA which is a child advocate or guardian ad litem for the child- Never believed that one either. A child advocate is not the same as a foster parent. Child Advocates go to court and advocate for the child's best interest amongst other things- National CASA - The Need for Volunteers

I guess the only thing that I have really believed 100% is that Heidi is a Liar. Her foster children are probably those mulitple personalities/identities she has. I also believe she is a KASA-Kimkins' Appointed Scam Advocate.

That's perfect Sigge, and your dog still scares me hehe.

I'm not sure why we are still debating the foster kid story, since we have actual confirmation that she in fact has not been a foster parent since 2000. So regardless of what she tells anyone, she's lying. If she weren't the Foster Folks wouldn't want you to contact them if you gave her money for that.

I can't wait till Tyna emails me back about her previous scams, I'm curious as to what other scams she's pulled.

1099's are not issued for sales of merchandise. Only for non-employee compensation - like services, prizes, awards, etc.

Thanks for the correction. Whatever the tax form is that they send out for sale of merchandise. (There are different 1099's though...maybe one is for that?? so if you are a tax person, I believe ya!!)

ETA: Wouldn't Kimkins be considered a service? Since you aren't actually getting an item (since the ebook was never written) that's what I would think. But once again, I could be totally wrong!

That's a very interesting statement that I've been thinking about today. I don't think Heidi thought she would be dealing with people from such diverse backgrounds, we've got lawyers, tax professionals, Foster moms, and much much more here, where we are now able to dispute her comments based on our own knowledge of the system. Pretty funny if you ask me.

Again, don't mess with hungry women heheh

So Kimmer flees and leaves her second mate, Tippy, herself conveniently away on a cruise, to run the good ship Kimtanic?

I've worked for an eBay PowerSeller for several years. We take in about $30-50K a month just with PayPal, and to my knowledge, PayPal doesn't send us any tax forms. We keep track of it all ourselves and cut the IRS a check every 3 months, just like a brick-and-mortar store.

But they actually paid the taxes they knew they owed. Who knows if Kimmer was as honest. (Doubtful considering everything else she has done)The site has been open how long? She would of had to pay taxes for the year 2006 wouldn't she?

That is just my take on the situation. Nothing I've said is gospel
