Am I missing something? Why would anyone think Kim ATC was kimmer? She was depressed about the situation and feels like a fool. We need to give her a .

However, I worry about vintagecoils. I am so glad the diet is working for her.

See how sad it is, that no matter what, praise is being given to a big fat liar, because pounds have been dropped? I know how it feels to lose and get what feels like a life back, one does want to give praise. So perhaps I would be the same way, but since I never trusted Kimmer, I guess I don't understand how one would want to give it to her after all we have learned on this thread.

Vintagecoils---I am truly happy for you, but you did all the work. So for you.

But many have been deceived and physically (as well as emotionally) harmed by Heidi. I just don't think she deserves the praise, just because some have not been harmed personally? Or at least not to their knowledge?

Vintage--And of course, I have to ask-----did you do exactly as she said, or did you, like so many others tweak it and it really wasn't kimkins?

Ok, after writing this, maybe it is Kimmer taking on another personality.

LOL I never thought I'd be happy to have my credit card stolen but here I am smiling about it!! I read the thread that was for her "diet" on this site and actually followed for a while. I became a bit obsessive with my calories and just about lost my mind because I would go lower and lower and couldn't lose any weight at all. I haven't posted before, I feel like I'm not much good at conveying my feelings through the written word...only cuz I'm so very animated in real life! This whole thing moved me to finally post and say thanks to all of you for uncovering this fraud and going forth with it! Lord knows losing weight is hard enough without having to worry about some (insert bad word here) trying to steal your money in the process! Kudos to you all!
Glad you finally posted!!!!

Vintagecoils thought KimATC might be Kimmer and gave a tribute to the plan. I guess she is not familiar with long time posters

Catherine left before the big rate hike to $60 in advance of the WW article. And, as Martin mentioned, they are holding $910 as a holdback from funds apparently owed Kimkins for refunds. He was soliciting ideas for using it to help, including as refunds. It wouldn't go far at $60, but they were thinking of $14.95's.

Update on the clothing line...I just called the company Printfection, that the items come from. The Rep said there are 2 reasons the bad url messages would come up.
1) the store has been moved to a different distribution compeny...in that case there should be a link to the new store front
2) the owner of the website (KK) has closed the store.

He said since they do printing and online ordering services for 20,000 websites he couldn't tell me if KK has closed the store and cancelled the business relationship with Printfection.

My guess is it's #2.

the shirts probably cost her abuot 4.00 a piece, so for every shirt sold that was more $ in her pocket on top of the membership fees.

Hi to all and WOW what a scam this gal has created! First time poster here after several days of lurking. Call me crazy, but.... I work in a large corporate law firm and although not an attorney, am exposed to the inter workings of documents/files to know how the system works. Logically, documentation is of absolute importance with any case. Sensing that charges will be brought against Kimmer (to what capacity is unknown), I want documation of proof of membership to Kimkins should it be needed for any reason in the future.

Since I paid for my Kimkins membership in April with PayPal, am not able to pull up receipts from PayPal because their on-line history only goes back 3 months. Currently in good standing at Kimkins, I logged on & downloaded a PDF of my Kimkin's profile summary which shows my real name and the date I registered.

There may never be any damages awarded to any of us if we win a class action suit against Kimkins, but if need be, we have proof of membership allowing more authenticity to our claims. After reading this, you may also want to pull a receipt for yourself...just in case (pun intended)!

I can't help but wonder if the Kimkins Cruise will be the next thing to disappear.

Anybody still over there know if Regandy (the other Becky) is still active? She's the one who was organizing the cruise.

I was basing it on alose's estimate of 20,000 customers X $15 = $300,000. Theoritically Catherine's share would be $150,000.

You can go back farther than 3 months. When in your Paypal account click on History, then advanced search on the left. You can look up anything in the past year. I tried it with an old ebay purchase, but you can also enter other search criteria. HTH!

Yes, if you need to, you can change the start date and get all of your transactions listed within the last year.

I did it a few seconds ago and I paid for membership back in March.

you can also do an advanced history search where you can put in whatever date ranges you want...even further back than a year.

Hi everyone,

I don't know if anyone here remembers me but I used to post quite a bit a few years ago. I had my fourth baby a year ago and am back down to about 137 or so, but I don't really eat low-carb all the time anymore. I never joined Kimkins, I was a victim of her "less is more" mentality long before the website launched.

Anyway I have lurked around here and there every so often just to keep up on what is new in low-carb land and of course who could miss all the drama? I of course have been hooked now for weeks

I was around alot when Kimmer was almost idolized and have to admit I often ended up in the thick of it on her side about the starvation mode issue and other things.

I was always impressed by her intelligence but noticed her snarky tone and condescending and patronizing tendencies that were intentionally used to make people feel stupid.

For myself, eating "her" way triggered an ED for me as I began to fear fat and calories, as well as any carbs. Slowly, eating low-carb became more and more restrictive. I began to feel that losing slowly was wrong and I was weak and gluttonous when I ate "too much".

Even worse, I felt powerful and righteous when I was nauseated and barely ate anything. I still don't weigh myself at all because I know EDs are a lifelong thing that need to be managed carefully. I had to step away from low-carb eating completely for awhile due to how obsessive and sick I became. Fortunately now I finally know how to enjoy a variety of healthy foods while still maintaining my size, no thanks to Kimmer.

I am still kind of in shock that all this has happened! For years I have pictured her as the beautiful thin woman in the white blouse and never questioned that she was who she stated.

I have to tell you all how much I admire and respect you for fighting so hard and bringing the truth to the light. I know the fight is not over, but so much has been discovered and I believe the truth is setting people free. Free from her lies, free from feeling like the less they eat the better they are, free from thinking they can't lose weight without her, free from being weak and irritable from hunger, and free from their own guilt and desperation.

Thanks for "listening", I have to go to church now but I will be back later, if I offended you years ago in an argument, please accept my apology

speaking of paypal...

i thought it wouldn't do any good to dispute something if the transaction is older than 45 days, but then i saw this comment at the kimkinsdangers post about paypal investigating:

Disgruntled customers--please do this!

Even if you think you won't get a refund, it's important for Paypal to have your negative comments/feedback to keep on file on Kimkins account.

So, money aside...speak up as a concerned consumer and let your voice be heard--don't let others make the same mistake you unwittingly made!

so i called paypal and asked for clarification on everything and was told that even if you don't think you'll get your money back (cause it's been longer than 45 days) for people to go ahead and still make it known that they are dissatisfied and what their complaints are...every negative comment will go on her account and given a certain number of complaints they will step in and investigate.

so, sounds to me like everyone should make it known if they have a complaint regardless of the timeline or refund possibility.

although the online form is most preferred, if you can't do it that way for some reason...you can make your complaint via email.

Is her paypal account still up? Has anyone tried to dispute the transaction with their credit card company?

I used to work Visa/MC disputes... this could fall under either services not rendered (if ypu've gotten the boot) or services rendered but not as described. The dispute would actually be with Paypal and you'd be given a provisional credit, and then it would go from there. IF you need more info, or more details, let me know.

We’ve been told Kimmer (Heidi Diaz) has started to initiate her exit strategy today to leave the forum on auto-pilot and simply disappear from the site.

Step one, remove Meet Your Team Page. Check!

Step two, post often in the coming days to assure members she’s dug her heels in. Check!

As more information becomes available we’ll share it here. Stay tuned!
What a loser (Kimmer) she is. She's turning tail and running We knew it was gonna happen, but still makes me mad.
