do an ebay search for kimkins...only one item shows up ... apparently the seller, midwest-sales-and-design, Amanda (from her ME age) has had such great success she is selling memberships into the kimkins website at $59.95 a pop..minus ebay listing and final value fees that brings membership down to quite a bit less than the original $60. She listed this on 07-06 and it is set to run for 90 days.
I haven't done Kimkins, but someone who has, should type out an article on it, and sell it on ebay under diet, information only...review the ebay guidelines for what is acceptable for informational sales. Better yet, if you have an ebay store, sell an outer wrapper of a laxative, title it "Laxative wrapper from Kimkins Diet", expose the issues re: Kimkins, include a photo of the laxative wrapper, and price it high as you may likely get subsequent negative feedback by a kimbot who may purchase it to get rid of the listing, placement in an ebay store will only cost 6 cents a month.

I just tried to report it too for misleading information (like kimmer lost 198 lbs, ROTFL) but it said the item number had ended??? It still shows up on search and the email the seller link works too

It's an affiliate ad--it circumvents fees by sending to an outside link so it is not allowed. Or at least that's how I see it. Ebay can now look it over and decide for themselves.
report it for improper links, circumventing ebay fees, oh pick one! The sooner the better....

Yup...all directly from her site. There are a bunch more. Lots of them look like stock model pictures of two different people, others look like the same people but don't really show any difference in weight although their "story" claims significant weight loss.

kim...I double checked the policy for classifieds...costs about $29 to list for 90 days, no final value fees, and purpose it to obtain multiple leads outside of ebay...since transactions are off ebay, there is also no feedback connected to the classified listing. only question is whether a link on the listing is allowed as policy states contact info is shared in order to make the transaction.

Just want to mention, all this hoopla about Kimmer going by the name of Heidi, there are probably other "old timers" here that rec'd emails or pms that Kimmer signed as Heidi.
As to whether or not she ever had foster kids, I don't know. From my knowledge, she was involved in her own child custody case, then she became some type of child advocate for the court system, then she became a paid teacher teaching English to Hispanics (I cannot remember the town she traveled to teach to)...when foster care was first mentioned, I didn't question her on it as I had assumed that she had taken a child in from the juvenile delinquent division rather than the family & children services based on other info.
Her medical advice has been based on her history of dieting: fasting, liquid diets, etc. She has had problems since childhood with her weight, her metabolism was destroyed ages ago. She had admitted herself that she gains weight very easily.
Emily was right, several pages ago, Kimmer left shortly after her supposedly weight loss and returned. I know she wasn't here during part of my loss (previously) as I lost weight on the premise of "fat satiates", "protein is self-limiting", "if you're hungry, eat", etc. She used to be a very nice person....until she developed such a following and her way became THE way. I never wish bad on anyone, but she built her own little empire, so she should take the fall for it.

As far as being able to collect on a court judgement against someone, I heard a guy on the radio who buys judgements from people say that if he has tried every other avenue and is convinced they are not going to pay, he waives his right to collect and issues them an IRS 1099, essentially making whatever they're holding back income in the eyes of the tax law. If they default on that, then they're the IRS's problem. And woe to them then.

Don't feel bad, you are not alone. I, however, never liked her. I once asked her for an updated picture a few years back. My husband and I both believed that the one pic in her avi with the white dress was from around her early 20's. I did not like how she was better than thou, never trusted her, esp. after she came down on me for asking for the pics.. I did find myself apologizing to her, because I could tell the asking made her upset (as well as other LCF's), but boy do I wish I could take it back and say what I really wanted to say back then. I stayed away for the most part, because I felt if I didn't agree with her, not only did she say something uncalled for, but I had to get flack from her followers. I hate to say followers, more like sweet, wonderful, trusting people who got taken advantage by a scum, oops I mean scam artist.

What foresight you guys had to know that something just wasn't right and that the thread wasn't just about a bunch of jealous fat whiners who wanted to be like Kimmer. Hi Tina, look at his before right where the chin area is, that's photoshopped, because you can see the tool she used to make his head blend and she picked the wrong color. Or the guy has a blurry chin in real life

They may have lost some good posters over to the kimkins site, but now everyone is coming back here, where there is trust. So her tatics of being a manipulator of people's feelings where being played out back then, and now are coming back to bite her in the a$$.
