I have to say that I do think that lumping all the KK members together as kimbots or whatever is a little uncalled for. I can see how if a person finds a community that they enjoy they'd never feel a need to research it. Personally, I spend 90% of my time at LCF on the Playground. When this thread was moved from there I didn't even notice until it was 100 pages long or so. I really think it's possible that a good percentage of members don't know about the controversy if it's being deleted frequently.

I'm all for rooting this whole thing out and exposing Kimmer's fraud. But I think really think there's only a few members there that are fully aware. Even those that have questions but only have experience with her since the WW article wouldn't have cause to up and leave the community. For them it's not about Kimmer. They barely know her.

I'll admit, though, that I have no clue what to make of members like Tippytoes and Osuzana.

As a fellow Brit I have no doubt that you are sensible and will do your own research with regards to a maintenance plan. Please read the Ask Kimmer thread that is here on lcf's. Any of your friends do psychology?? How about pre-med students , ethics? Ask them for an opinion on paying to join a site that tells you to severely cut calories in order to lose weight. It's run by ??? not a doctor but possibly an obese woman in her late 40's.
Remember losing weight at 23yrs old is a doddle in comparison to keeping it off.

Hi Amy, I think the "Kimbot" reference as it has been used of late refers to the questionable followers. Meaning many are questioning if that is in fact an actual supporter or Kimmer herself. Hence "kimbot". Just offering a little clarification on that....and I agree with you about not knowing what to make of certain members. Sad eh?

I noticed the Kimkins domain is registered under Brandon's name. She wouldn't be thinking of using her own son as the fall guy for this, would she? Maybe she thought that would be slick when he was still a minor, but he's eighteen now, isn't he? I was wondering if that's what she meant when she told Becky that if Kimkins was sued, it wouldn't be her in court.

I mean, nobody can be that reprehensible, can they?

osuzanna left a "statement" to/about the 14 yr. old in the comments at the ducky post about it all...maybe that's what she meant?

Here's a thought, what happens if Brandon and his girl breakup, will she come forward? Check court cases of diet companies, and the info is all there. (rant over)

We ALL want to know who Ducky is..I'm thinking it may be a group of people because sometimes Ducky sounds like a man writing and sometimes his more feminine side comes out..We may never know..BUT..I do think his countdown is still in place..Maybe something will happen next week..

As Allie said, go and read Becky's blog. It's an eyeopener as to Kimmer's personality/character.

Wow, kimkins dangers took the pic of her in a dress, and side by side the one from classmates in the famous blue sweater, she is facing the camera and talking, you can really see the similarities. To my eyes, this is the most dramatic side by side, where i can REALLY see they are the same person
