Did any of you see Mimi's post of what Heidi said?
Basically it states that Slamboard is her former partner, was not a partner when the WW cover came out and that she is kicking herself.

I too stooped to try Kimkins to lose my last 18 pounds. I paid $50. I was a lurker there as well and really stopped even checking it out when she posted on her "newsletter" about an email I sent her. If I wanted the information to be public, I would have posted it for everyone to respond too.

Thanks all of you for the persistence to stop this.

Let me explain what's up with her renting an apartment still. She has student loan debt, which lowers your credit score like a madman. A low credit score can only qualify for 1 type of mortgage (fha). A small house in CA costs at least 900k. She most likely can not qualify for a mortgage loan (trust me every person I have with student loan defaults is screwed) so she would have to pay in full for the house. She most likely hasn't made enough to buy the house at this time but I'll bet she was looking. That has come to a screeching hault at this point.

Now a quick question what's up on her site now? Any new posts from her yet? Anyone else get banned.

This is not neccessarily true. My husband and I have student loan debt and a lot of it. We have excellent credit scores.

Well, that's Heid's 'story.. In fact they parted ways, some time before the WW article, over other issues. And Catherine is not harboring bad feelings for not being a part of it all..

Prior to her starting the Kimmer website and raking in all that money - how could she even afford to live where she is living on disability checks...... much less own a car? I know people in Wisconsin that are on SSI and they are living month to month. It boggles the mind!

Tooter...thanks for posting this. You are right. I've been coming to terms with this for a couple of weeks now, pretty much knew in my own mind that Kimmer had either never lost the weight or had re-gained it, and STILL am feeling very emotional about it. I cried whan I saw the pictures of her....not sure why.

just got the money in June..She probably had a lease on her apartment (which looks pretty nice..garage, etc..not cheap in CA), that she couldn't get out of..

She herself said that she hated clothes shopping..No big surprise there they way she dresses..

If I were a KKite, I would be really ripped at the "results" of the diet. She told Jimmy that she was maintaining her weight of 118 at 1800 calories a day with NO exercise.
That was very unlikely..especially with her hypo condition..She is probably maintaining her current weight with 1800 calories cuz she wrecked her metabolism..

Vickie: We all feel badly for those ladies who have put their trust in her. They are the innocent victims in this case. We are really mad at Kimmer for such deceit, taking people's money, and causing some of them to be sick..And, she acts like nothing happened..and goes on her merry way..!!!! What I'm really feeling right now (as a kimkins supporter) is that no matter what the story, I feel sickened by what some people are willing to do to another human being. We all have feelings and I can't even imagine what the last couple months must have been like for Kimmer. Hopefully none of you will ever have to experience that but I will remain a supportive member of kimkins because the diet works. Don't know Kimmer personally and still dont' care.

Didn't say debt, said defaults. I assure you, ASSURE you that a student loan default ie: having not paid on it at all will cause you to NEVER get a government loan unless it's been paid off. Which it hasn't.

Edit: oops I guess I did say debt, damn after dinner drink.anyhew I meant defaults. I'm sorry for the confusion....but there is no way to get a government mortgage if you owe the government. Or if you are on ssi. It's very hard unless you can get a doctor to say that you will get it for the next 3 yrs at least..and most drs won't put that in writing.
