It could be that it is considered a job because of the time she puts in it, but she could be doing it for the experience, to build up her business. It happens, and this thread wasnt started questioning her,

Shelby - you are right about that. Maybe she is attempting to build a following to start a business. I hope that is the case, and not Kimmer taking advantage of a very caring individual. I've 'known' KimATC since early 2000 on this board, posted with her daily, celebrated her children's births, sent gifts, phone calls, etc.

I do not want a friend taken advantage of.

That's what most of these threads are all about. Kimmer taking advantage of people.

According to the official info about it:

Everyone will be free to do whatever you like on the ship. Kimkins will have no required activities. Apparently she is working on being on the cruise, and the issue of her foster parenting is what's she's trying to work around. So, it's not been stated that she's NOT going, but that she's trying really, really hard to go. I really hope she does!

She is really really working on it! She is making plans to be there. We are all hoping that she will. Her ONLY gliche is the "boys" -- she is a foster parent to a large group of boys and MANY MANY arrangements and approvals etc have to be worked out... and you know sometimes government agencies don't work around our schedules! hahaha

But she is giving it her best honest try!

Again, it all sounds like BS to me. But I am a naturally suspicious person.

Its not Kimmers cruise, another person on her website is setting it up. It was the posters idea for the cruise. It wasn't to meet Kimmer it was a get together for posters on her site.

Well, we'll see how it all pans out. I guess I tend to be more optimistic than most people. I would think she would just take the kids with her, but that's a lot of money so I suppose that's why she can't do that.

Why would she plan something she can't attend? Who knows? Maybe it's just a way to bring people with similar intrests together. Hopefully she goes so she can clear up all the suspicions people have about her identity.

Who knows? Like another person said, it wasn't her idea for the cruise so perhaps she is using that money for something else. I don't know how many boys she cares for so I really have no idea how much something like that would cost.

We are all very optimistic when we really want something to be true. Nothing wrong with that. Why else would so many people gamble or play the lottery?

I believe it was some of the members who came up with the cruise idea and have been doing the organizing.. It was first begun early in the year.. Plenty of time to arrange things, except "emergencies'...

Maybe she's really shy? I usually back out of meeting people too becasue I'm so painfully shy in real life and I have the worst conversation skills face to face with people. But, I run a small business from my home and "talk" to people all the time through email and such. But if one of them wanted to meet up with me, I'd probably want to back out too just because I get so anxious and make a blubbering fool of myself. Just a thought ...

this is a fair point. I'm very private and I don't post pictures of myself here, but I will send them via PM if someone asks. However, I didn't go out and start a business with my name on it, seek publicity from Women's World, and post pictures in there, now did I?
