Why the fascination with Kimmer?

What is strange is that she won't be on the cruise. She will obviously get a kickback for it because they are using her name to advertise it. Heck, you can eat K/E or pretty much any eating plan you want on any cruise you go on - you just special order what you want or skip the foods that don't fit your plan. This cruise is no different than any standard cruise if it's not "strictly" KE food. I went on a cruise a couple of years ago and lost 3# because I was doing Atkins-ish and watching portions.

But why wouldn't she be there? Plus that would be a huge selling point for any cruises or anything else she did in subsequent years - being there herself is great advertising. That's always the point of these "faux-celebrity" cruise packages - the people are actually there. Runner's World has them, where they have the famous runners and writers come in and talk about running and exercise; there is a political magazine that holds one, and authors come and talk about politics, etc. But that is the point!

The point is not to pay for the cruise "in name only."

Note: Years ago I read about an Atkins cruise that PETA planned to "infiltrate" in order to protest, but they decided against it because they were afraid of "retaliation" (read: being thrown overboard!)

Actually, maybe it would be good to get feedback from everyone first. Not have just ONE person do it, but fill both of their emails up from a bunch of us (including the lurkers who are scared to post).

If everyone decides it's the right then to do. We could do that.

If Kimmer is all innocent, then we all come out looking like a bunch of Paranoid witch hunters and will have to eat crow. It would even promote her weight loss site more.

BUT....If we are all right in most of what we suspect...Then we can pass the plate of Crow to the defenders and Matters should be on the road to expose and correct all that.

As for the original ones posted, no, I don't believe those were real.. You just can't change bone structure, ethnicity, etc... Plus one of the afters was a well known model, over seas, but was not the before woman pictured... Someone has saved all of the original's and they are posted on another board, where there is also a lot of questioning going on.. Heidi apparently failed to realize that there are people out there who think to save things that they may question, for whatever reason...

When members of her site asked why these successes never posted, they were told that they didn't want to participate, and any questions people had, could PM Heidi and she would get them to the people, and then give their reply...

Odd to say the least...

I know she was called on them at one time, and basically said, so what...

Any picture can be drastically retouched to make the person much younger.

But unless the picture has been morphed so totally as to move bone structure, things like jaw width, forehead width, and the relative proportions (distance) between features on the vertical plane do not change.

The red dress picture ain't her unless she paid for a total Photoshopping which included the bone structure in the face.

I'm guessin' she's fat.

There are alot of inconsistent things, I guess you would have to read the entire thread to get all of them, but they are there.

I have read all the threads. Her paypal name is Heidi Diaz. You have to supply bank information to set up a paypal account.

Thanks, Chrissykin. I was being Sarcastic with the "Kim Drake" because that is what she told Millions of people in the WW magazine.

I hate to ask this (but it seems like we have to ask Exact questions and still we get alot of run around with that) But this "Woman", she knows her in "real life"? As in Met her or knows her face to face?

If the answer is yes, what does she have to say about all this?

I would have to say it is none of our business if Kimatc is getting paid. People keep asking, and I am not sure that it really matters, other than making her feel attacked. I mean, i guess she is free to advise people for free, or to be paid for her advice. She is certified and has every right.

REALLY? I did not know that.

I admit I joined her site earlier in the spring and now regret it. So not worth the money I paid for it. No matter what time of day or night, her site always claims that there are a couple thousand people online yet very few new posts ever turn up. BTW, the membership is up to 27,280+ (supposedly). As far as I'm concerned, that's 27,280 people who deserve to know what the founder of their weight-loss program really looks like.

Since the WW article, Kimmer had been using the red dress pic as her avatar there. Today I noticed it's now an avi saying "No Excuses." That in and of itself is kind of ironic!

You really think that girl in the red dress is almost 50 years old? Seriously? I am not slamming you, I just don't get it. I mean, actresses that are 50 don't look that good, even in photos. There is a maturity in the face that comes with age, and that person doesn't have it.

Take the traditional choice of exercise for a lot of people, the threadmill.

Per Fitday you burn 288 calories for a 157 pound woman.
That creates a negative of 47 calories if you were that woman.

I have been training since January and on avarage I burn anywhere between 1300 calories (10 miles) and 500 calories (3.5 miles)

As a athletic trainer how can you not warn people of the dangers of severe calorie deficit?

Our coaches made it clear that you need to eat, maybe not all fat but you need calories to not 'bonk'

I've been suffering from food poisening these last 2 days and have only been able to eat around 300 calories and there is no thought in my mind I can work out on that littleamount of calories.

I saw people cutting out everything. You at .1 ounce of cheese? cut it out, an olive a day? cut it out.

I saw fast it wasn't for me so I never went into it.
