I can understand, maybe not using a real name in WW...maybe to protect privacy? But, you really subject yourself to a question of credibility when you do that. And really, that is all she has, her rep, her credibility, in order to operate her business. Because she is selling advice, so that is when credibility comes into question. I mean, if i was paying someone for advice, I couldnt do so if i questioned their credibility.

Does that make sense?

You made perfect sense to me. If she was just a person on this message board, of Coarse she shouldn't use her real name and just be "Kimmer". She is a private person. But when you are selling something and YOU are the product, being honest is the most important thing. You are no longer a Private person, you are a public person. That's one of the things that was really bugging me.

Isn't it possible that Kim Drake is a psuedonym, for example Drake could be a married name, or maiden name. The fact is we just don't know. And Kimmer has not been transparent. Although I can't say I blame her, some people aren't comfortable putting their whole life out to the world. I used to be agoraphobic, not able to leave my house. I also hated having pictures taken of me or weighing. I have maybe 5 pictures of me from the last 10 years and those are family shots.

As famous as she is getting, if she is fraudulent it will be exposed. She is making way too much money for that not to happen.

I am an artist who specializes in portraits. Bone structure does not change if you gain or lose weight. If you look closely to those photos, you will see that the bone structure in the red dress is totally different than the leapord print top.

Also, if she lost all that weight in 11 months, we all know that she would have massive amounts of loose skin. So in order to look like she went from 40 to 18, she would have to have major surgery--not talking just a tummy tuck here. She would have to have arm, leg, facial, etc surgery. But again, that wouldn't change the bone structure (we've seen Joan Rivers and know that for sure)

As for the Kimmer's diet--I feel it is pro ana. To eat less than 800c a day would be starvation. Not only would she be starving while losing massive amounts of weight, but her muscles would deterioate and her whole body would look boney under all that loose skin. Even several lifts would not produce a soft look to someone without underlying muscle to support it.

Do we also remember that the heart is also a muscle and people who are anorexic eventually die of heart failure? Why would anyone want to subject themselves to such self punishment for the hope of looking slim?

I don't doubt that Kimmer is a real person. I do doubt that those photos are real. I feel she is just cashing in on other peoples desperation. Fo all we know, she may be confined to a wheelchair because she no longer has muscles to hold her upright.

Anyone--including middle school students--can take a photo and change it in photoshop. You can make a person thinner, clear up acne, put a new hairstyle on someone, remove an arm, add a third leg, put a lion's head on a person etc. But for us to believe that we can shed 100 pounds in less than a year and look as tight and toned as we did when we were 20 is just rediculous!

Kimmer is a fraud. She is ripping people off. She's taking advantage of overweight people with low self esteems, grabbing at the next 'miracle diet'.

Women's World is well know for publishing starvation diets. The headlines sell the magazine - which just so happens to be displayed next to others like it - The Enquirer, The Star, etc...

Someone or group is bound to bring a lawsuit against Kimmer. Time will tell...

She must be stopped from taking money from these people.

I feel so sorry for all of them. Thankfully it is apparently a one time charge, and not something that will be charged to a credit card monthly or whatever.

Again, she's a fraud.

Given all the identity issues here, I doubt there will be a book. It's likely she's already been approached about writing a book, because diet books SELL. (Or having one ghostwritten for her, if she herself can't write.) But if she can't put her photo on the book, if she can't do book signings, can't go on the talk shows to push the book, it's unlikely any publisher would accept those conditions.

Yeah, kinda funny that she NEVER posted it here when people wanted a better face shot, but it was on classmates site. Does she look anything like her after pics now?

I think they would have to have your password etc. Not sure, but there sure seems to be too many excuse for the pictures. There are just so many excuses that it takes Blind faith to believe them all.

I think we all can agree that the woman in the Before pic is the same as the woman in the classmates pic. Same hair, face, shirt, sun glasses....It's a dead on match.
