shirataki noodles

Has anyone used shirataki noodles in the K/E phase or Kimkins phase? Has it stalled you?

I eat the tofu shiritake noodles when doing kimkins. It has not stalled me, I would just add watch the sauce you are putting on it. I like to use them in stir fries.

Ive seen them at Henrys Market Place. They were a strange consistancy...like jello noodles.

I live in Texas and get mine from Whole Foods, Fiesta, or from the Asian market.

I was going to use them in place of my veggies for lunch. Do you think that would be okay? It is 6 carbs, 4 from fiber.

I suggest that you wash them as they have a smell and then put them in the microwave to get some of the water out. I am not sure if it okay, but janamonkey says she uses them and she has been losing weight.

The kind I have only have 40 cal per serving. There are two servings in the bag and DH and I share a package in stir fry. I'm not sure of the specific rules of bootcamp but I think they are good for a change!

Hi,

I get them at Trader Joe's and if you have a Wild Oats. They're pretty good--although, I find they need a hearty or meaty sauce.
