do you think soy cheese is okay?

if your calories and fat are low for the day do you think its okay to have a slice? the kind i have is 35 calories, 2g fat, 0 carb, 3g protein. i had a slice today (pepperjack, yum) on my turkey burger but assumed it was fine because i was having trouble just getting to 300 calories.

Sounds fine to me. As with anything, monitor yourself and make sure you don't go overboard, but the numbers seem very good. Low calories, low fat, no carbs - I might have to check it out for myself! Have a great day!

Diana,

I also love soy products and is in love with silk very vanilla milk but I am holding off on it right now because I am doing KE. Can you please share with me what you eat daily in order to only eat 300 calories. My caloric intake is too high but I stay within 20 carbs but I am at a temporary stall and want to reduce my caloric intak. I wish you much success.

A word of caution for those hypothyroid people out there - soy products (which I love!) will cancel out your hormone replacement meds, so beware!

For the rest of you lucky ducks that can have soy - carry on!

thanks for the replies everyone. i think i'll stick with it unless i see a problem. i am however going to cut out the tiny amounts of cottage cheese that i've been eating.

sails - i've only been doing this less than a week so i don't know that i'm the best person to give any kind of advice but here is my fitday if you want to take a look. basically, so far, nothing but poultry with a few extras to make it tastier. also, the lemon juice on day 2 was added before i knew the carb counts
