8 weeks on Kimkins
Hey everyone,
I'm new here, and I have a question: how much weight can I lose on 8 weeks on Kimkins (if I don't cheat)? I don't have a problem sticking with diets, and I do at least 45 minutes of cardio everyday. I know it depends on genetics, body composition, etc. I currently weigh 145, how many pounds do you think I can lose in these eight weeks? Thanks! |

Obviously this is very subjective! But I think a good estimate is 3 lbs a week at the least if you are very strict. That would be 24 lbs.
Of course it all depends! I am 146 today and have lost 11 pounds in the last 2 1/2 weeks. |

It also depends on how close to "ideal" weight you are for your body's ideal weight. At 145, I'm guessing you are a woman and in many cases, being at 145 is in a healthy range.

The thing is, I'm fairly short (5'3") so it's still considered overweight. It's not too bad though and I've heard that if you have less to lose, you lose more slowly. I'd like to be in the 120s by the end of summer though.

That sounds reasonable if you stick to it!
