How to eat more calories without blowing the diet

I have two question for all K/E and Kimkins dieters. First off, has anyone else ever felt really weak while doing the diet? I'm on my 9th day of the diet and for the past few days, I get periods of total-body weakness. I'm not sure if it's due to not eating enough, or low electrolytes. I'm in such deep ketosis that it's really hard to eat much of anything at all to begin with.

Which leads me to my next question... what kinds of things can I eat that have higher calories but won't break my diet? This probably seems like a very silly question, but all the foods I have been eating are so low in calories - pork, chicken, turkey, fish, a few veggies... what else can I do to add a few more cals to my menu without having to eat larger portions or even more meat? (I don't think I can eat much more meat than I already am... getting meated out already!)

If anyone has any suggestions for me, it would be great!

WOE: losingjusme-kins LC my way
i feel a bit weak and somewhat light headed at times (especially after i work out).

only thing that you can boost cals is liquid calories (shakes maybe??) or fattier meats. more cals in fat than protein alone.

best of luck!

Sorry I missed this thread.

What I do when I want to have more calories is eat fattier meats, like ground beef. Or, a bit of mayo as a condiment mixed with fresh herbs.

Also if I'm feeling yuck and lightheaded from a work out I'll eat a peice of cheese and a peice of meat together. I don't know if it's the fat or calories that helps, but maybe both.

I hope that helps!

Oh wow, I forgot all about this GNC Vanilla Whey protein powder for shakes. Once shake is 120 cals, 4 carbs and 2 grams of fat. Not bad - I think I'll drink one of these before and after my workout for some extra cals.

I hate ground beef (and yes, burgers) so that's a definite no-go.

Thanks for the suggestions!

WOE: Own version of LC
I was wondering about that as well. I'm on day 6 and feel so weak and light headed today. Tomorrow, I plan on working out again and hoping I have more energy to do this. Please bare with me because I have a few more questions. I'm still not sure what WOE I'm going to follow but before starting this, I ate lean protein, veggies, salads, nuts, fruits, fat free cheese and so on. I'm not sure if I'm going to follow this way again or not. I'm still trying to understand Kimkins WOE. I may stick to K/E until I figure this out. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Those that have been on Kimkins for a while, what do you guys eat? Oh, I'm also feeling a lot more hungrier lately. I ate a huge breast and a cup of romaine with the low cal Italian spray and 20 oz of water and I still feel hungry? I guess I'm a pig ha

I often get light headed when doing KE. When it happens I will drink some water and sit down. Or eat a bit of protein. Typically I feel it when I stand up to quick.
