That is great for her....I personally do not agree with her approach but if it works for some that is fine...I just don't agree.

Ok, there is something I just don't "Get". In this thread are the pictures that people have seen of Kimmer.

Women's World - Kimkins Success

None of them look alike. They all look like different people and even the eye color is different on the one in the magazine.

Also, none of them look like a 48 year old woman.

I don't get it, because on her webpage are before and after pictures of people who have lost the weight and they look really good in the afters, but you can tell they are the same person.

This just has really bugged me. I just don't "Get it".

And I am joining her site. Will do the boot camp (incorporates exercise). Can't wait! I've been living on water and protein for the past three days simply because it's so darn hot here so I am pumped. I have to buy a scale this week as mine was lost in our flood

so I don't even know what my numbers are right now, just that they are WAY too high

She has also claimed all the photos are her and it's obvious that is not the same person in all the pictures. No matter what your diet is, it will not change your eye color.
That along with her own admission that her plans are actually Stillmans and Atkins 72 makes me go "hmm...".

I have to agree, I hate to say it, but the picture of the girl in the red dress? That just look so different, that I just cant believe it. Maybe plastic surgery?

I totally agree, that's what is bugging me. That and the fact she only has ONE of the afters on her web page so that you can't compare them.

OK aside from picking apart her pix or whatever, my MAIN THING is...... what % of folk KEEP IT OFF. For good. Yes that can be said for any plan.... but we are speaking of this plan. Cuz quite a few of the folk I see who love it.. are the same ones struggling to KEEP IT OFF. Anyone can lose....

She has provided a wealth of information here for years and now that she's successful you are pretty much calling her a fraud. Sad, very sad.

Plastic surgery is possible, so what? If I lost that much weight I'd have it done too. Colored contacts ~ see ads all the time. She has also been a huge advocate for retin-A for skin and really believes in it.

Oh and if you read the testimonials on her site, very few of them look the same. That's what weight loss and getting healthy is all about.

They're legitimate questions and concerns. Kimmer posted on here many times that her plans were Stillmans and Atkins 72. Her words. The photos are very disturbing to me and I think to others as well.

Ok I first want to say that I really appriated(i think i spelled that wrong

) Kimmer when she was on this board she was there when I needed her, she gave me advice on how to get my insurence to pay for a tummy tuck. I am forever grateful for her help. But I will have to say that those pics are quite disturbing. I hope it was plastic surgery, and contacts and skin stuff that makes her look 20. I just know for myself if I didn't know anything about her, I would pick up that magazine read it and say this is a fraud! But like I said I hope she just went and had a "Swan makeover" and if so more power to her I would too if I had the money!

That's a really good question. I realize that with any plan, people can go back to their old ways, but I think this is an important question.

There are just alot of RED FLAGS that go off with me. Also the comment about not exercising. Allie is right, you can be Thin and FLabby. I sure was when I was anorexic and bulimic. Exercise is very important for over all health.

And the next question I would have is...What is the eating in maintence? For the rest of your life.

I'm sorry, but the pictures are not the same person. It's not being mean, it's not Jealousy...It just doesn't add up to me. My question is not if it's the same person, it's WHY is it not the same person?

For me? A person who has suffered in the past with eating disorders... I would RUN from a plan like this.

I don't want a "Quick fix" or a magic bullet...I want to learn how to eat for life.

She deserves every bit of success she is now finding. You will not find a single person with a bigger heart or drive for helping others.

You may not agree with her plan/approach so be it, but you don't belittle the person behind it.

eta - she is my friend and none of you know much about her background, so I do take these comments personally.

I am in complete agreement with you. There is nothing that upsets me more than people who belittle others, particularly those not here to defend themselves. Shame on them. They had no problems asking her questions and taking in their vast knowledge though.
