Kimkins help

I started Kimkins today and was wondering if someone could tell me if I did anything wrong. I know I probably could have done without 2 of these things but I didn't eat much overall over the day and have a horrendous headache so I know I did not have ANY sugar whatsoever. I am also looking for some good snack ideas that aren't eggs.

b-nothing, 1 cup of coffee with splenda (instant creamer said it had no carbs or sugar but was 10 calories per tsp..is that ok if I decided to use it?O)
l-4 oz of chicken and 4 thinly sliced small pieces of cucumber, dipped in low fat ranch dressing
d-3 oz of steak with all fat trimmed off, cooked on foreman grill
des-1 smal ljell-o pudding cup of sugar free/low calorie pudding

i know, the ranch, pudding and cucumbers prolly weren't too good huh? let me know what you guys think

thanks!

All in all it looks pretty good to me. I would be very careful about the powdered creamers most of them do have some carbs. I use land o lakes half/half (not the fat free...it has carbs!!) or a very small amount of heavy whipping cream. Cucumbers are fine on Kimkins as long as you don't eat too many. Ranch is good too in very small amounts. I personally would not eat the sf pudding, but would opt for sf jello instead. The best pudding you can eat on kimkins that I have found is the stallone's. It is only 1 carb per serving I buy it by the case...lol. But, I only eat a half a serving per day, not that I am being disciplined or anything...it just tends to fill me up.

My favorite snacks right now are the stallones pudding, baked jalapeno cream cheese poppers, and ice cold claussen pickle halves.

Looks like you are off to a great start!!

I agree with Vandy. Skip the pudding. Try finding a ff dressing that you like for the cukes. Creamer? Don't have a suggestion as I drink my coffee black.

Just remember the basic rules...low carb, low fat, low calories. Personally, I found K/E the best way to induct into kimkins. It really helps with cravings & getting your appetite under control.
