KIMMER ? - Fat Grams
I don't remember reading the answer to this question and can't find it by searching.
I'm staying at 1000 or less calories. Trying to stay at 14 or fewer carbs. I saw your comment about how many protein grams, but what would be an allowable amount of fat grams or percentage for continued rapid weight loss. Thanks in advance |

I'm not Kimmer, but I can try to do the math for ya!
If you're eating 14 grams of carbs/day that is 56 calories (14x4) If you're eating 60-70 grams of protein/day (I think that's what she said, forgive me if I'm wrong) that's 240-280 calories. Let's say 260 for sake of ease. So, if you have about 315 calories from carbs and protein, that leaves 685 calories, or 76 grams, from fat to hit your 1000 calorie target. Does that help? |

Looking at my fitday I have averaged 60 in the past month. I wondered if that was too high. Might be on target.
Thanks! (I hate math!) |

I don't know that counting fat grams is the way to go because so many low carb foods (meat?) are very low carbs but high fat.
The RDA for protein is 60 grams which is only 1 large chicken breast. Smallish pieces at lunch & dinner, you're done. You're so amazing in your success, I wouldn't worry about it. You've accomplished your success without nit picking (and, hey, still very alive despite STARVATION MODE!) Very good job! ![]() |
