Question for KImmer??
Is it ok to use protein shakes for meal replacement? I was just wondering if it would be ok for breakfast or lunch. Really, lunch since that seems to be my lightest meal of the day. Just wondering? Also, I need info on how to come off a m/e without pigging out!! LOL!! I know all people are different but I was just looking for helpful hints!

If it's true meal replacement and you're not snacking 2 hours later on something high calorie ... yes.
I think prepackaged meals can be a Godsend to many people. Great for portion and calorie control. It's important to check your calorie/carb counts for the day so you don't get lax since you "only" had a shake at breakfast/lunch/dinner. Be sure of the TOTAL carb count on the shake. Don't use Slimfast. |

Thanks for the info. The total carb count for 1 serving, which is what I make, is 4 carbs. Is that good? 1 fiber, 3 sugar I think is the breakdown.
