I have some choice words for Kimmer

Okay, the title was just to draw you in. Nothing really juicy here . I did want to make public my PM to Kimmer from this morning:

Another thank you!!!

I woke up today at 119. I have lost 12 pounds since mid-February even though I used to be a "slow loser" who barely lost one pound a month.

I haven't been doing Kimkins per se, but your posts have taught me to count total carbs, measure my foods, stay away from all LC products and be aware of calories (I rarely count them, but things like sour cream sauces and meals full of cheddar cheese only pop up in my menus every now and then).

I guess what I'm saying is that if you had not posted so faithfully on this board, I would probably still be eating artificially-sweetened cream cheese every night after dinner, having huge portions of cheesy casseroles for meals and subtracting carb grams wherever I could. Or maybe I wouldn't even be COUNTING carb grams but would still be doing the dreaded eyeballing. And I would be staying in the upper 120s month after month, ready to binge due to frustration. It sure is hard to stay on a diet when all it's doing is keeping you grom gaining. That's the cycle I had been stuck in for nearly 3 years.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Getting people to be real and honest is more praise (or accomlishment) than I could ever hope for.

It's not what you eat, per se, is owning up to what you eat and not make excuses ... and makes me glow from ear to ear.

Its true, Kimmer has some wonderful ideas and they WORK. Regardless of the type of WOE we are following, its all about calories, portion control. I honestly believe we can all lose weight if we just pay attention to both quantity and quality.

Congrats My Cannellloni and Thanks Kimmer!
