M/E fast question -- Kimmer?
Ok I'm gonna start this tomorrow.. now is this a good way to jump back OP? My plan is to do the M/E fast for a few days. then jump back on SB and in two weeks start phase 2!

Certainly you can do that. My question would be why do you want two extremes? You're going from 0 carb to 40+ carbs ... why not just pick something in the middle (Atkins Induction, old type) and stick with it?
People tend to fall back on "protein only" after they've cheated or "relaxed", usually over the weekend. The health point of "protein only" (i.e., Stillman's, Kimmer's 3 Day Experiment, M/E Fast, etc.) is that you get to goal quickly and begin adding healthy veggie carbs. If people are falling back on protein only, then eating non-nutritious (non veggie) stuff in between, you're draining your body's nutritional stores ... you aren't filling it back up. But to answer your question, yes, it will work. |

From personal experience with the M/E fast, I'd say "yes" too, for you lose weight fast (most do) while losing that appetite BIG TIME. There were times during the fast that I simply lost the desire to eat, though I forced stuff down anyway for energy at work, etc. On several occasions, I made a plate of food and forgot about it for hours. It is really, really weird having no appetite, though the occasional nausea feels a bit uncomfortable (infrequent and mild). |
