Kimmer Question

On the Kimmer experiment is it okay to have a little olive oil & vinegar? Sometimes I put some on my chicken burger with pepper. How about a drop of mustard?

Thanks,
Michael

Are you doing the Kimmer 3-day meat fast--or Kimkins? On the 3-day--olive oil in small amounts is fine. She stresses use just enough and don't drench things. Probably the vinegar/mustard is fine as well--just watch carbs with the vinegar. There is no limit on carbs--but a good figure to work with is between 5-10 (I'm counting eggs as well).I have to admit that I still had my cream once a day with coffee-but I still got into ketosis quickly--which is the whole idea of the 3-day fast. If you're on the Kimkins--you have no problem--it's bascially like the older induction I LOVE all phases of Kimmer's plans!

Stages??

OK - guess I am missing some Kimmer info. What are all of the stages besides the M/E fast?

meat and egg fast was suposed to be a 3 days fast. To get you in deep ketosis and to see if you we're overdueing. Many people however, do it way way longer.

Kimkins is Kimmers usual woe. Old atkins..just enough fat to make it work..and a longer-term plan.

I don't think Kimmer intended to start a new way of eating..it just sort of took on a life of it's own (LOL)

Thanks - I'll keep the olive oil to a minimum, but what is the carb count in plain white vinegar? I thought it was zero (which I count as 1 gram anyway). I'm planning to try Kimmers (I think)
