Chantel... THANK YOU SO MUCH
Chantel... Thank you for being patient with me. I am overwhelmed... when I think I have it right and I read that I might not be doing it right I get all wigged out! So I should be eating more protein? That is easy to fix I can just eat more of my boneless skinless chicken... it didn't seem like a whole lot to me last night when I got like 1 tenderloin of chicken and that was it. I kept thinking to myself..."but Atkins was more about meat and not all about veggies" that is how *out of proportion* my plate looked last night. WEll I am feeling relieved, **SIGH** I just want to apologize to anyone if I sounded like a big ole B**Ch. I really don't usually get that wound up...but I am passionate about losing all this weight so I want to do it right.
Hope you all have a great day... I need some more water...LOL Also Thanks to Magicsmom... sometimes we just need to know that we are doing things right.

Melissa, I think the way that Kimmer kept her protein ratio up was not by adding more, but by choosing very lean sources of protein, avoiding high-fat protein sources, and limiting added fats severely. In my case, my fat ratio is higher than hers (around 60%) because I just can't bring myself to eat plain eggs for breakfast every day, or to give up bacon or my summer sausage. Also, I NEED that tablespoon of heavy cream in my coffee every morning! I'd sooner give up the coffee than drink it black.
YMMV is so appropos! Please don't stress out trying to do exactly what Kimmer or anyone else did or is doing. Terry |
