update on using appetite suppressants

When I started Juddd about 6 weeks ago I posted about the appetite suppressants i took to help with my down days. This is an update as promised .

I asked a Dr for Duromine(phentermine) and he prescribed 2 months supply. I took the 1st 30, and was all hyped up, ready for the loses. I have used these pills before and because I was diagnosed with Bipolar, my Dr told me when i used them the 1st time, that they might cause a relapse into a manic phase ( i dont mind those much). They never did. No manic no depression.

However I did not anticipate the depressive state i went through. I became a monster wife, mom and almost a monster manager at work. I kept on shouting at everyone. Did not realise how bad things were until I fought with my mom for a wedding dress i last saw in 2008, fought with my husband and left my family for a full night and a full day.

I reluctantly stopped taking them, and naturally started pigging out, that was when my weight started fluctuating a lot.( it was not bounces). My mood swings subsided, and 2 weeks of not taking pills my marriage is back to normal and so is my bad eating habits.

Yes I try extra hard to stay within my calorie limit and i fail all the time, i try to gym extra hard. I know it will take time to get my body used to rotations and i found a shop where they sell willpower, and its free.ill be using it.

I will not be recommending these pills to anyone.

Rose

Rose that sounds so awful! I'm glad you're off the pills now and are feeling better. I hope the DD's get easier for you.

I remember back in Oct LoCarbGal and Carly had mentioned pterostilbene to you, and I did, too, although thinking maybe you shouldn't do both that and the prescription together. ( I just hate it when I can't figure out which of two things is the one that helped.)

Of course, if you were wanting to try the potato hack (I think I read that in an earlier post) you may want to let that be the only new thing you add for a while, for the same reason. Best wishes with that, and perhaps keep the pterostilbene idea for later, when you are used to the potato hack.
