See the fluctuations ladies ! There whooshes and then some gains & plateaus as my body gets used to a new #. I notice I have a week of drops and the following week my body is settling in at the new # and then it gets ready for another drop rtc. It takes patience and trust in JUDDD and the rotations. What counts is overall the steady downward trend. Next week I start week 6 and I am hoping to see 125-126 !

I've achieved my goal range of 110-115lbs (i.e., DD-UD range within a week). As most of you know, this is not a weight goal as such, it's a body fat goal. (I want to reduce to 25% body fat from my current approx. 30%.) I'll see if it's practical to reduce it the range to 105-110lbs which would put me at approx 23-25%.

That only rationale for why my weight stayed the same is due to some dehydration. The higher cal count is due to some drinks, but my carb count was still quite low.
I was on my feet all day yesterday shopping + went for a 4.5 mile walk + did a lot of house tidying, so I wouldn't have to do it today on my DD.

Not good, especially since I'm facing a tough few days--I have to produce an entirely new syllabus for my graduate course that meets tomorrow afternoon, and then on Tuesday I have another two courses starting and syllabi to write for them. I'll try for a fast day today, but the most important thing is that I stay on track in a more general sense, that I weigh myself tomorrow and the following days no matter what, and that if my weight goes up above 125 I cope with it and use what I've learned to bring it right back down.

Ended July 219, down a total of 24lbs for this burst. Difficult month to come, but would still like to hit 214 by month end.

Going to add BF reading once/week, starting at 16.2%

I've achieved my goal range of 110-115lbs (i.e., DD-UD range within a week). As most of you know, this is not a weight goal as such, it's a body fat goal. (I want to reduce to 25% body fat from my current approx. 30%.) I'll see if it's practical to reduce it the range to 105-110lbs which would put me at approx 23-25%.

Ended July 219, down a total of 24lbs for this burst. Difficult month to come, but would still like to hit 214 by month end.

Going to add BF reading once/week, starting at 16.2%

8/4 221 effects of travelling, expect to increase daily until thursday

8/8 221.5 after travelling, Off to Barcelona on vacation monday, and my mindset has flipped to vacation mode now, so i think next weight will be in 10 days time

I'm experimenting with the "potato hack" to break a plateau. I'll do 3 to 7 days depending on how my body feels on it. I'm following the "purist version" by Jim Steele (Tatertot) on vegetablefarm.blogspot: organic peeled potatoes, w/coffee, tea, water; no salt or spices. I'm eating 1 1/4 lbs baked russets a day. Some people respond terribly, but my body seems to like it...so far.

ETA: There must be a lot of water loss with a loss of 3.8 loss in 2 days. But he claims there's no quick regain when normal eating resumes....that remains to be seen.
