I don’t remember noticing what size they were when I was there. I just remember feeling ludicrously pleased with myself whenever someone stopped me to ask for directions. Even when I couldn’t help them.

Try shopping in their department stores! I think they only have zero sized clothes! Love Paris, though and will be there later this summer.....

Happy Anniversary, Leona. Hope it is a beautiful one.

Lili (from May30th) enjoy your rest from Zumba. You earned it lol

Today I am just going to be working on my dear stepsisters baby shower gift. Quilt is nearly finished, next up will be Waldorf-esque doll and I am thinking some breast pads. dehydrated some delicious fresh veggies and will throw those in a decorative jar for a quick broth postpartum.

Woke up feeling pretty bummed today, ToM too.
I haven't been doing a good job on any way of eating or schedule the last 10 days.
Financial stress has me STRESSED, our fridge gave out killing most of our food.
My child who is disabled picks up on stress and makes life even harder, and really...I could just lay down with a pizza and eat myself to death.
But, I won't. This too shall pass.

It's June, and maybe if I throw some exercise in on today I'll shake some of this craptasticness.

Lisa: Woo-Hoooo! and congrats on finishing the 5k. Wow, running for 2.4 miles is awesome even if it's at your own pace. And continuing on to walk the rest is awesome. You deserve a zumba break.

Mike: I'm both encouraged and discouraged by your information. Encouraged because it definitely explains the bounces of DD/UD. Discouraged because this is my fourth day of sticking to really low carb because I want to drop some weight fast before I go to Hawaii.

So, as of this morning my digital scale says I've lost 6.2 pounds after only three full days of VLC. (It's evening here and the fourth full day is coming to a close). I'm mostly eating lean protein and drinking tons and tons of water.

My stomach feels a lot flatter and a pair of pants that were very tight last Sunday are comfortably loose. Or should I say, loose-ER.

Do you think the entire 6.2 pounds lost is glycogen/water? C'mon tell me there has to be some fat leaking out with all of that! Please?

What lovely shower presents. Makes me want to break out the broth.

We have a new puppy! No name yet. She is a black minpin-chihuahua-dacshund mix. Maybe a little less dachshund than we would have preferred, but she is working her way into our hearts.

It may be mostly water/glycogen (but I'll bet there's some squishy fat loss too!) but if it makes your tummy flatter and your pants fit better......then hooray!

Does it hurt? I'm so scared of that kind of stuff because of my sensitive skin.

Dawn, because of YOU and your tattoos, I finally got the courage to have my eyebrows waxed. One is a tiny bit thinner than the other (I don't think it's very obvious, especially when I use brow pencil)....but I love how it looks in general.

It burned when it was actively on my skin. Once I neutralized it and washed it off, it didn't hurt anymore at all. Now my skin is TIGHT, but not tender at all. It's a tiny bit itchy, like after a sunburn, which is pretty much is after all, just chemically induced rather than radiation induced. It does look really bad though. I have to keep telling clients that I'm not contagious!

WTG! I love nice eyebrows. Keira has even had me wax hers a time or two. Unfortunately, she got my unibrow, so I oblige her when she asks.

Hey Ladies Thanks for listening the other day. No, we haven't replaced the fridge. Soon though! It stopped the freeze cycle, but can't take our chances with it doing again so just keeping veggies hosed down and in a waxed box in a cool part of the house.
Everything else has already went through it, and alot of it is mostly salvagable. (Mayo turns a weird consistency after freezing, fyi)
The veggies just made me hopping mad though cause CSA boxes are *not* cheap- $40-$50 a week.
Oh well, they dehydrated beautifully and will make a nice gift.

I feel much better today. Still stressed, but I got some sleep and we got a fresh CSA box (sunshine on my plate!) and I know things will be just fine.

Some days are diamond, some days are dust!

This is (probably) a very "duh" question but: I have been keeping track of my calories on fiit plan. I put my weight as 300 (last time I weighed was March and I was 348- I need to update my weight) and put 2 pounds a week as my goal.

Over 10 days: 2 days I hit 3000 calories, and for 8 days I was as low as 800 x2, an 1100x1, the rest with a med range of 1600-2000.

Am I messing up my metabolism at all? I am trying to make better choices, and eat only when hungry most of the time.

Will I be successful losing weight? Pay day isn't for another week and thats when I can restock every thing and do successful LC JuDDD again. Is just counting calories ok for now?

Wow Kati! You're doing great! I'm so happy for you!

So, if I'm calculating right, over those 10 days you got an average of around 1700-1800 calories. That sounds pretty good for your current weight. Well below TDEE and maybe even lower than RMR, which you wouldn't want to do for fear of burning off valuable muscle. I know right now all that sounds important is losing weight fast, but if I had it to do over again, I'd concentrate more on losing only/mostly fat and retaining muscle. Just my 2 cents.
