UD or DD Easter Sunday, what are you making?

I had planned on ham, green beans, asparagus, salad, mashed cauliflower but son had school stuff and couldn't come home. So DH wants to go out and save me the trouble of cooking (lol).

Our fare will be very simple...
B/L: "Thin crust pizza" for brunch (w/ scrambled egg and bacon topping) using NancyElle's recipe here: Thin & Crispy Pizza Crust! Easiest EVER! Pics included!
D: Foil baked tilapia w/ butter and spicy Mrs. Dash (DH request) with a side of steamed cauliflower and broccoli topped with just a bit of cheddar

Happy Easter!

I'm having a free day. I'm not sure about breakfast, but late lunch/early dinner will be at the casino near Yosemite. It's sort of our holiday tradition when we're not spending the holiday with MIL. I expect a big bounce on Monday.

Had my "Easter" feast today, so DD tomorrow. I don't celebrate Easter, but have so many friends who sort of make a whole weekend of it.

Roast leg of lamb, cauliflower mash with cheddar cheese and sour cream and a green salad. I made some yummy low carb cheese cake muffins so will have those for dessert.

Monday will be a DD for sure!

Enjoy your Sunday!

DH wanted to go "somewhere I can eat" and stay fairly primal, so we went to chilis. I don't really trust their stuff to not have msg or gluten, but I did my best with 1/2 a rack of ribs/6oz sirloin and broccoli combo. Was pretty good but now I want ham lol.
Will have to make one this week.

How'd it turn out?

I had way too much food, mostly junk, though I did start out with a big salad. Ended the meal with 3 pieces of cake, though!

I went all out on Easter dinner this year. My family usually doesn't do all that much for Easter, but I was in the mood to cook. So here was our dinner:

Roast leg of lamb w/rosemary
Roasted potatoes and carrots
Homemade dinner rolls (see below)
Pecan pie w/vanilla ice cream

This picture of the rolls is not mine! It's what I tried to get mine to look like. This technique actually works great, but I didn't get the ears cut at the correct slant and they looked more like cats or even mice than bunnies. But they did get the desired oohs and aahs from family, and were deeeeelicious!
