WOE: Whatever plan keeps me around 150 lbs!
WTG Ab!! I agree about this being the easiest WOE to fit into any long-term goals. DH and I go to amusement parks a LOT, and it's been great these past couple of summers, being able to go all day long with no extended rest periods, and never having to question whether or not we'll fit on a ride (except DH is quite tall and still has to cram himself into some of the smaller rides, but that's a leg-room issue, not a weight issue).

So excited for you, AB 54! You'll probably have a lot more energy for walking Disney too. Thanks so much for the updates ... I love hearing about how well you're doing.

I'm not making any goal weights or anything yet or even thinking about maintenance, I feel I'm just going to continue doing what I'm doing and when it's time to evaluate those things I'll know. Our family is going to Disney in October, and I'm excited I'll have no issues riding the rides with my daughter as long as I don't fall off the wagon. That was a big motivation for me. Also to be able to trek the parks daily without my weight being a hindrance on what we want to do. Really a blessing I found this WOE, as it's been the best WOE to actually fit into daily life I've done. My wife has joined me and has lost 27 lbs as well. She has much less to lose and always struggles to get it off, so she's glowing daily about this WOE as well. Have another couple and another buddy from high school that are all doing this with more than 15 lbs lost as well. They've all bought in and ran with it. This and Tom Venuto's book the Body Fat Solution have hit home with me and I feel like I'm understanding nutrition and emotional eating now, and that's comforting going forward that I won't yo-yo after doing it for 11 years.

Just wanted to check in as I dont' post much, but still going.
4 month mark is today and I feel it's important to continue to update to maintain accountability. I was 234 on my weigh in this morning, for an 11 lb loss last month. I'm an even 50 lb lost on JUDDD since 4.17 and 70 lbs down since 3.10.

This forum was the reason I chose fasting so I obviously owe the people who take the time to post an big thank you for the information. I've recently modified a bit to a version of 4:3, so I'll report more on that in sept update as ten days isn't really any kind of test period....

Let's keep on keeping on.

ab, you are doing fantastically and you're so consistent. I love that you found us and were/are willing to give it a try. 70 pounds is AMAZING! It took me a full year to lose 97 pounds and I felt like a speed demon, so your 70 pounds in less than 6 months puts me to absolute shame. Rock on, rock star!!

Oh! I am so glad you are posting updates! And I am equally glad IF is working so well for you!

Theory says, after several months of SIRT1 activation and that old JUDDD Magic doing it's thing, the change to 4:3 should be a complete non-event. Your body should be on lose-weight autopilot by now.

Please do let us know how it goes!

Congratulations on your progress - long may it continue all the way to your goal and into a peaceful maintenance.

NB: I've used 4:3 since induction and still do in maintenance. 4:3 doesn't suit everyone but it does me.

Just wanted to check in as I dont' post much, but still going.
I've reached the 5 month mark. I'm now at 225 lb, down from 234 last month for a loss of 9 lbs. 59 lbs overall lost on Juddd since 4.17 (and now 4:3 the last six weeks), and 79 lbs lost since starting 3.10.

My original goal was 220 lbs and I'm just five lbs from that mark. I'm tall so I wanted to be realistic, but I think I can probably easily shed down below that mark healthily, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I have a vacation planned to Disney on Oct 3rd, so short term goal is to lose that five lbs by then. If I maintain the 225 by Oct 15th (we return the 13th) that's probably a more realistic overall goal with 10 day trip this next 30 days. We'll see how it goes but I'm not overly worried about the where's, why's and how's...Just want to continue in the overall right path...

Thanks again for the help.

Wow ab-54.............how impressive!

I am so happy for you, and I hope you have a wonderful time down in Disney.

You're truly an inspiration; keep up the good work!

I just started JUDDD on 8/18/2014, and I am down about 13 lbs in a little less than a month, so I am really excited about this eating plan as well. I know we ladies do not lose as fast as guys do, but ANY loss for ME is thrilling, as other plans have not worked well for me. I have been paying $42.95/month for my monthly Weight Watchers fee, and haven't lost anything CLOSE to this kind of weight.

I am still paying the fee as I was skeptical when I started, (just in case this didn't work), but if I continue to see success with JUDDD............I will cancel my WW membership and save all of that money I have been dishing out every month! I really loved the meetings and cameraderie with all of the other WW members, but I am getting that same kind of cameraderie right here on these boards!

When I think of all the money I have dished out over the years of WW fees ($515.40/year over how many years I have been a member)......I have paid thousands of dollars while HOPING to get THESE KINDS of RESULTS! And I can do JUDDD for free!
