UD Monday! What are you eating?

Good morning!

Getting back to a more primal eating, and that works fine with juddd as far as I can tell

B: coffee, black; 2 egg omelet w/bell pepper, ham, onion and tomato, topped with a little avocado cream sauce (pureed avocado, jalapeno, onion, lime juice and sour cream (about 1/4 cup sour cream for 2 avocados but I needed to use the sour cream)
L: sardines in evoo; salad w/macadamia oil and vinegar dressing
Snack: frozen strawberries pureed w/a little stevia and coconut milk
S: grilled steak; steamed asparagus w/butter; salad w/evoo and vinegar

'Morning Dottie.

No plan yet, but I was sick yesterday, so I'll definitely work on getting calories in today.

YUM Dottie!

I had trouble sleeping last night. My BF is out hiking for a week and a huge storm started making its way through his hiking territory. Adding that kind of worry to my first DD in a week or so, and sleep wasn't looking too likely.

Snacked on almonds, PB and banana, and even some cookies throughout the night. So, today, having some greek yogurt w/ protein powder mixed in for breakfast.

The rest of my meals will be focused on protein and veggies.

Feel better Dawn!

Coffee - 70

2 boiled eggs and 2 slices of bacon - 240

Lunch-hamburger patty and mashed potatoes -280 (added some leftover pimento cheese to my hamburger for an extra 140)

snack-mini chocolates (thought I'd avoid those today, but ended up eating several right before leaving work--at least it wasn't all day long!)

Dinner- shepherd's pie

Stopped eating at 5:00 pm. Finished the day at 965 cals. The problem with MDs is that they feel like DDs to me. I really try to avoid them!

I was out of town for the weekend and wasn't able to pack a lunch or go shopping, so ... all take-out, all day! But calories are right on target and protein is 148 grams. sodium, OTOH, is 746 over limit!

B: Starbucks breakfast sandwich and grande iced nonfat latte
L: chicken caesar salad and quest bar
S: 12 almonds
D: black bean chicken bowl from El Pollo Loco (I think this is just about as healthy as fast food gets, and it is under 400 calories and filling! It has chicken, black beans, broccoli, salsa, avocado)
Post workout shake: protein powder, banana, milk

We have an El Pollo Loco just down the street and I never think about them. That bowl sounds good!
