Hey Cindy I goofed and did not count plus ate fresh mush melon and a micky D's regular hamburger with bun for the first time this year and I got too big of a bounce today. So I get to buckle down. I know I can not have much fruit or I gain just on that. I also have a bladder inf. and may be holding water. Got meds. for that yesterday so hope fully it will go away.

Yes I got to thinking and looking at my sheet I keep by my computer so I can report to the girls on my journal. I saw that I kept doing 2 lbs jumps most times back in forth. I said to my self too bad I can't hold on to that DD number then I would drop 2 down. So I got to thinking about that and said you don't want to do 2 DD together so lets drop the ud number a little and see if we cant slow down the bounce after the up day. Like I said yesterday I got sick last week with some kind of bug from the kids on the bus and thru up a lot and messed up my electrolites so I had to drink a med. bottle of Gatoraid to straighten them out. Then when my head cleared up and I knew all was ok except too much acid going to the tummy so I had a piece of bread with pb on it to absorb the acid. I don't know why that works for me but it does when I have a reflex attack so I did all that on a DD and that messed me up last week trying my idea so I started again the next day and bingo it did it again. So that is why I got back on to tell any one who might want to try to break a slow stall. It is worth a try.

Friday I failed my Physical for school at first. But threw all the prayers that every one was doing on my journal the dr. gave me a 2nd chance on my bloodpreasure and I barely passed to work for another year. So I was celebrateing with a hamburger with bun and then I found ripe mush melon at the store which is the first I have seen. So dummy me bought and ate too much then top it off I did not count all day which is a no no for me.

You would have thought that after cutting carbs and looseing 30 lbs. Not drinking caffien all week or anything salty would have helped me pass my test but no it did not. You would have to read my post in my Journal to see what caused me to fail.

Hope this works for you to start going down again. I know how upsetting it is when you do all things right and nothing works. It is so maddening. Good luck Just try to adjust that up day number down a little and cut a few carbs that day and know that you will probably get them back after you get to goal to slow you up on looseing then.

Just a quick update. I went to the doctor last night. Got my bloodwork back from Sat.

I had the best numbers I have ever had in the 8 years that I have been going there. This way of eating combined with the protein and carb match up is working great.

My cholesterol for the good is 2.8 should be below 4.5

Everything else was right where it should be.

The Glucose DROPED from 103 to 91.
Blood preasure is great.
He wants me to stop at 135 lbs. Which would be a little lower on my scales but that is cool I can handle that. I was with in 1 lbs of goal until I ate at several partys last week.
So I am putting this down here to let people know you can change your numbers.
I just did it. But now I am going to have to work hard to keep it in check. Thanks to all who helped me.

Thanks Dawn, Carol, and Yam-Yam yes I really did it. Now I am going to have to work to keep those numbers that low. Thanks to gotsomeold I checked into diabetic classes and got some information I needed and read several sites she told me about and I got the sugar down with the info and training.

Thanks to all who helped now I just got to learn not to splurge so much and I will be ok.

Awesome, wonderful news windygap!!!!

Prepare to be amazed - the longer you maintain at a healthy, low weight AND maintain your BG at healthy levels, the more internal healing should happen - some of the healing seems to be very gradual. But you should notice your mind and body feel better and better and better. (It is certainly doing wonders for me!)
