JUDDD bounces are weird but our bodies have their own logic that they choose not to share with our emotions or the bit of the mind that we know about - so, while part of the brain is thinking, "We're managing this really well", the other part is shrieking, "I'm not losing or I've gained a pound".

It's horrible and occasionally it feels like it will derail us but as long as we know that we're doing 'The Right Thing' and there's no reason to suspect that something else is awry, then we do need to trust the process and keep the faith.

I'm pleased to read how well you've been doing WindyGap Well done.

Sept 2014 A recent DXA scan reported very low muscle mass (sarcopenia) so I'm still thinking about how to cope with that. I have some joint surgery to schedule. I may miss questions that people ask me or personals. Apologies if I do, it's not intentional.

Thank you SlowSure, It means a lot to me that you posted again. I am trying harder then I ever have to get this off . Counting every bite and lowered the carbs on up days. Only eating lowcarb. I will let my self eat a small desert not lowcarb on easter day and a little more carbs in regular food but will expect that big bounce. Then it is back to the strict way again. Easter is a up day for me so that will help me a lot.

You are right about the bounces. I had always bounced big now they are little or none at all. I will not give up this time until I hit goal. Have a nice Easter and I hope you enjoy the next performance you go to. Hope the weather is good there and you can be on the water.

deedee I have always dreamed of coming on Thanksgiving for the parade. Some day I will get there. I also want to see the Rocketts Christmas show. One of these days I will. I wanted to see a picture of Macy's. They walked all the way there to get something for Christmas for me and found out they were closeing due to the storm so They couldn't even walk in. So they happened to walk into the TV store and saw the shirt and said that's it. I have watched every show at least 6 times each. No lie. I am a ghost nut.

After Mondays weight in I am going to let this thread drop and post my numbers in my journal from here on out. I really love all the help every one gave me. I figure from Mon. I am on my own and it is up to me to hit goal. I have to pull my big girls panties up and finish this war with my fat. I Thank all who stopped in to give their thoughts on the subject.

Thanks Carol so much. I have not got home before bed time all week. 11;30 to bed some nights. I not been on here since last note. Thanks deedee right now I am going up and down. I will try to get caught up on my numbers. I am home on a break yeep EEEEEEEEE. Have to leave in a little while but I promise to get caught up. I am still going at it . Things are going slow but is still working. I have been so tired all week I have been lacking drive but that will pick up this weekend.

Went to Diab. classes Tue night near Cincinnati. Took 4 hours Tue and still have 4 hours next week. Then worked the last 2 day 13 and 15 hours.

Mafiamom thank you for your surport. I promise I won't quit till I am done. I just have not seen home all week.

I will post numbers on other site so I don't have to do it twice so I can get caught up.
Love to all. This goes out to all readers. You guy's and girls can do it just hang in there. And thanks for all the help from everyone.

Just wanted to let every one that was posting here before know what is happening. I lost 2 lbs. then all of a sudden it stopped but it kept bounceing big. The last big one I did was mothers day with not over eating that day .

Well I decided to do maintenance for a couple of weeks like SlowSure told me to try. I told the girls on my journal that I was going to take a maintenance break for two weeks and not post any numbers for weight lost.

Well here is what is happening. I have been trying to learn how to par protein and carbs together and how to bal. my carbs for Diabetic way of eating. The nurse said I could not count carbs like they do because my body is so sinstive it cant handle 20 in a day and they do 45 in a meal plus a snack or two. So she said for me to learn to put protein with any carb I eat. So I have been trying to not eat anything carb wise with out the protein.

Here is what has happened in the last week after I have been doing this since the last Tue in April Mon. 146.4 Tue 144.2 Wed. 144.2 Thur. 142.2 Fri. 141 Sat. 139.6. I told the girls on Thurs. I was going to Maintenance but dropped on Fri so I said huh! so I did my same numbers instead of going up and dropped again 4 days straight so I am not going to change any thing right now and see what happenes. I think I might have found why I was not looseing on Juddd for so long. My Carb sensitivity was so strong that I could not get past it. Now that I am trying to do what the nurse told me it took a few weeks but maybe it and the sirt 1 have finally joined forces together.

What ever is going on I know my sugar is under good control and all of a sudden I am looseing again. I just wanted to let every one know I have not gave up just tweeking to get it going again. Love to all and a big thanks to SlowSure and gotsomeold. All your info is working. SlowSure I promise after the weight slows down again I will take that break but I don't want to stop what ever is going on now.

26.4 lbs. dropped with Juddd since June 16 of 2013. Hope I can hit Goal by that date. gotsomeold thanks for all the diabetic info. I am testing all the time and am doing great number wise. Love ya! for the help and hope you are doing fine.

Thanks girls, I just wanted to let you all know I had not gave up just tweeking trying to get it to go again.

Calichris Here goes.

The numbers were 310 1550 310 1492 295 1158

DD I had a Atkins caramel Coffee protein drink for 160 cals.
I sipped on it all day.
For supper I just had a chocolate Chunk Kind Bar. 150










UD Pita lc pocket with peanut butter on it for breakfast at 4:30 am

Cookie Dough protein bar for 9 am snack

Nutri sys beansoup for lunch

Yougart LowCarb for snack in afternoon

Wendys full size Apple Pecan Salad with blue cheese dressing for supper

Atkins peanut butter cups for snack at about 7 pm

Totaled 1550

Thank you! I am trying to get to 130 and I am almost there finally. I am just going to keep on keeping on as they say. Some days I don't balance too good then others I do ok.
It is kind of hard to pair protein and carbs when you only have 306 for the whole day so I came up with the idea carbs one meal and protein the other. Don't know if it will work but I will see.

Here is another days menu forCalichris. This is todays it totals 1467

Atkins peach bread pudding and 100 cal of chicken for breakfast

Chicken Chinese cassr. for lunch

yougart strawberry colada and 1/2 cup cottage cheese mixed for snack

Salad with tomato and cucumber and chinken and cheese
2T. honeymustard dressing. for supper

1/2 Atkins cho. chip cookie Dough bar for night snack

Thanks, Windygap! I'm trying to be careful with carbs too, so thanks for the ideas. I also noticed you're having a lot of success with about 5-6 smaller meals or snacks. This probably keeps your blood sugar more even throughout the day, do you think? Anyway, it's working!!

I think it is keeping it kind of level. That is part of what I learned in class. I am just going to keep trying. The doctor is trying to keep me from getting diabetics . I am trying.

Thankyou slowsure you are so sweet. I was just getting on to say this morning I am 136. 6 lbs from goal. I have realized some thing this past 2 weeks when I started to dropped again. Here goes I don't know if I can explain but I will try so we can see if it works for someone else.

I have been trying to keep my high number the same 2 days in a row then when I do a dd I get to drop from that number. Not so inflated number. So far this week it is working. I try to explain the best I can.

140 up day after a down day 138 138 after up day 136 after the next dd. What ever my dd ends up being I am trying to keep it there the next day. Not my eating number for dd. I mean if I am 138 after a DD then I try to lower my up days to not go over that. You don't have to do to dd together just lower your up day down about 50 cal.

I don't know if that helps but it has worked all this week and last for me. I got the idea not to give up that dd weight if I could help it. That way you are dropping from your dd number and not an over inflated up day number. I am going to try to keep it up and see if it works for the next 6 lbs to goal.

I came up with this Idea before I got sick last week but had to over eat on a dd because of being sick to get my eletrolites back right. So when I finally droped again after I had went up a couple of lbs I started to do this again and it is working.

Calichris and library girl I am putting this down for you girls to see if this will start you girls again. I hope it might work for you girls and help some one else out there besides me.

You might call this HOLD EM! In others words hold that down day result all the next day so you drop from that number. love you all and would love to help someone else.

I don't know if it will work for you or if it will keep working for me but it has the past week. Got my fingers crossed for you!!!!!! Try going maybe 50 less on up day and if that don't work try another 50 that is what I did. If we can get the bounce to not be so big we won't keep just going up and down with the same numbers all the time.

Wow, I didn't realize I'd written Winday lol. It's been a strange UD and I didn't eat until about 3 pm. I did have some caloric drinks though. I will be eating dinner very late too because we were out and I still wanted to cook what I had bought, instead of picking something up. I don't even know the calorie count for today, but I do think that it makes sense that if you don't do UUADs and have the big bounces, you will go down quicker.
