I feel so great, It turned out I was holding 4 lbs. of water from sitting all day and we were gone so long I finally went over and had 2 hotdogs with mustard and no buns to tied me over. My protein bar did not hold yesterday. I thought I was going to be out till 1 we did not get home till 6 and then it took to almost 7 to get home. So those little hot dogs did the hold the water trick on me. I was up all night running to the little room. Thank God I am only up after a up day from 143.5 to 144.6 this morning. I can handle that bounce. That is normal for JUDDD.

I kept thinking yesterday about when I was this low. I was about 24 and I am 64 now. I was just starting to raise my boy who was 2 then. Hi is 42 this year. I feel like I just shed all the bad years from two failed marriages off of me yesterday. Most of my eating was from emotions. I have been working for the last 3.5 years trying to not let that control my eating. It has always been known in my family that if something bad happened give aunt Judy food and don't give it to my sister because she has the other issue she shuts down eating. So I have tried real hard not to let any thing bad or real good control my eating. It is a real hard thing to break but I think the real Judy who first married the first husband is finally coming out of a 40 year shell like a chick would
do. I sure hope it continues on and I can get where the maintainers are this time.

Thanks Cindy and Carly, I really do fill like a shell is cracking open and the old me is coming out. The only trouble is that it is a older version! I have been trying to clean house do all the clothes and clean all the flowerbeds at the same time. Boy am I wore out. I can sure feel tiredness from not being aloud to do anything last summer because of my eyes. I am trying to clean a few flower beds out that I was not aloud to do last fall and I think they are winning.

I just got on to take a break and post todays numbers DD 260 and 6 carbs. See every one tomorrow.

Nancy I sure hope so today I stayed the same again. I have stopped bounceing and I don't know why. 144.6 three days in a row. I am counting everything going in my mouth. On DD I use protein drinks that are Edge or Atkins so I have the count right. I measure all food and creamer. This is just what happened in Dec. I got off my holiday weight off in 2 or 3 DD Then bam I stopped bounceing. I sure hope it is not a repeat.


Numbers 240 cals 8 carbs. weight 144.6

You've only gone up a lb, Windy. It will come back off and maybe a lb or two with it. The fact is, you're making progress!

Thanks Cindy I just can't figure out why I have stopped bouncing. Have you had days where the number stays the same for a while. The last time I just kept bounceing up and down until I stopped for the holidays. I might jump up and down by 3 lbs. but I kept bounceing until I came back after Christmas and this same thing started happening. I don't care if I gained a lb. but I don't want the bounce to stop.

I've never stopped bouncing as long as I was doing eod. When I have taken breaks, I have stayed the same for a while. I have never gotten as low as you are now though, and maybe you're holding on to some water because of the great strides you've been making. A whoosh is definitely in your near future! BTW, are you drinking plenty of water? I think if you drink 6-8 glasses of water a day, you will definitely see the scale go down.

I had period were I stayed exactly the same to the tenth of a pound for days. It is disconcerting when we get use to the bounce. Stick with it and the scale will drop. Try on a tight pair of pants every Monday, since we know the pants don't lie, but the scale, as Melinda says, Is Evil!!! It is also a thief and a cheat!

Oh girls it is 441 in the morning on Wed and I just had a shock. The bounce started again and went down to 142.9! Thanks for holding my hand yesterday so to speak. I was scared to death that The bounce had stopped completely. I knew I had ate right and I stayed strong all night and did not eat a bite after I posted. I better hurry or I will be late. Talk to you all later today.

Great news Windygap!

This journey is confusing, isn't it? I had one six week period where the bounces were all within .5pound (teensy little bouncettes) ..... BUT I lost eleven inches in that 'stall'. Oddly, when it ended, weight loss did not whoosh, it just resumed two pounds a week like nothing had happened (what had happened was all my clothes were too big).

If you have not taken, and recorded, measurements, please consider doing so. That way the scale is not your only way to guess what is going on.

Great news. I often have 3 days in a row of staying at the same weight and then the scale will drop by 1.5 lbs. Just happened to me.

Thanks girls so much for the info. Now I won't panic if it happens. I got up this morning and stayed the same as yesterday . This is the weight I weighted the day I found out I was going to have a baby 42 years ago. I guess I should say 42 and 9 months. It sure seems funny to be this size again.

I was hoping for a new low this morning. Had a good DD, my night weight was right (I weigh before bed and estimate my morning weight- data geek here), but nope, same weight as after my last DD. Then I tried to take my ring off, it would barely budge so I am retaining a lot of water. Why? No idea, but it is a good sign to be retaining water and be at my last low.

That is amazing windygap! I bet it is a little strange to be back to your pre-pregnancy weight so many years later. You're doing great!

Gina and deedee thanks for the nice comments. It really does feel funny. I have had the same thing happen from night and morning weigh ins. This time around the bounces are wild. So glad you girls dropped in.

deedee my niece and sister went to see your city one weekend. It just happened to be the Sandy weekend. First time there for my sister. She was on the last fairy to leave the statue before the storm hit. Need less to say she had a wild weekend or should I say 3/4 of a week. She kind of got stuck there for a while. That's ok she brought me a cup from the island and a TAPS. tee shirt from the show Ghost Hunters from tv for Christmas. I was so excited. You would have thought I went.
