One of my favorite Down Day plans is 4oz of fish, fried in 1t butter, and topped with 1t mayo. Repeat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Also, I like to eat slices of liverwurst, cut into very small pieces, and nibble on it over the course of half an hour.

And, of course, just a nice juicy patty of 80/20 ground beef, cooked in its own juices. Yum!

And pork rinds with guacamole or sour cream is a treat I learned about while doing Fat Fasting, that I still find useful and delicious. And pork rinds have a surprising amount of protein per serving. Much better than chips or popcorn, but with a satisfying crunch.

Sirtain- the pork rinds made me giggle. When I converted to JUDDD and gave up low carbing I swore I'd never eat another pork rind

I haven't had one in over 2 years, but maybe now I can reconsider. I was a bit traumatized back then

Carly! I have had the same aversion to pork rinds since my early LC days in 2001! Not to mention macadamia nuts. I mean, who doesn't LOVE those little guys? Me. To this day I can't eat a plain mac nut like I used to. Still love them in baked goods, but g*d forbid I try to just eat one. Yuck!

Oh no! Take care! I have had kidney stones once and given birth three times. Would rather give birth again than the stones... (this face is not laughing, but screaming his head off like I did...)

I never ate pork rinds before I tried a Fat Fast. Growing up thinking low-fat was healthy, and fat was bad, they just seemed like the ultimate nasty snack: fat, boiled in more fat. I tried them in desperation, so that I could have some kind of variety on my Fat Fast, and was pleasantly surprised. I never overdosed on them, luckily, so I can still enjoy them.

Macadamias, though, on their own, are just too much for me.
