My thoughts and prayer are with you and your family.
There was a house invasion a few houses down from me and the creeps shot a 10 yr old girl in the head!!!! So our town is in shock and disbelief. It's so sad.

We have a dear friend whose teenage son was suffering with OCD and finally opened up to his parents about it, has gotten good help, and he has been very open with us about his experiences. I treasure that he feels this comfortable with me/us (he knows my husband better than he knows me). I also treasure that he is willing to share, because I seek to understand as one of my highest values.

The shooting by us just happened a few days ago. The kids are placing bears and candles in their yard. The town had a march for her and they also have a fundraiser post on a website to cover burial costs. Kids in school are getting counseling bc they're scared now. I spoke to one little boy who said his parents can't protect him so how can he protect himself? It's so sad. Kids aren't suppose to live in fear!

Tonight I'm going to a Speed Dating event and I have no clue what to wear! It is a themed event for fans of Science Fiction/Fantasy (books/tv/movies), so I'm thinking to could be fairly casual and jeans and a t-shirt would be fine, but I don't know, maybe I should dress up a little and wear khakis and a button down? Or maybe jeans and the button down?

Arrggghh...I am no good at this!

Jeans and a button down, or khakis and a polo would be fine, I would think. Semi-casual, but put-together. Have a blast!

Had a lovely day on the water as it's idyllic Spring weather. I'm just changing and having a cup of tea before going out to the cinema for a live broadcast of La Boheme.

Dress up as the 11th Doctor (Who), with a bow tie. Seriously! You will end up with the most awesome person if she "gets" your garb.

Agree about the cologne; just don't bathe in it.

Folks, I'm almost completely packed and ready to fly away to Washington, D.C. tomorrow. Leaving home at about 5:45 a.m.

Today is a DD but we have a dinner date with friends. I want to get out of it but can't. So, I'll probably have soup or salad or something.

Hope to get on line soon, maybe Sunday evening or Monday morning to check in. I'll miss my JUDDD BUDDs!!
