Our home is fifties style tri-level (and is apparently attractive to a variety of creatures). We put in some carbon monoxide and gas detectors when we converted our fireplace to gas two years ago. Instead of chirping, they talk to us in a woman's voice about checking the batteries.

At one time I knew how to put up pictures. I use my iPad now and maybe that is the problem.

Anyhow, I changed my profile picture to one taken last night. I think you can go to that and 'see" me.

I actually have a fear of leprechauns. It kind of naturally flows out of my fear of clowns. But yes, you can.

Thanks Yam Yam. When it became impossible to get my contacts in easily with one hand I went to wearing my glasses all the time. I'd take them off for pictures, but now I seem to forget about them most of the time!

Yes, the tiger picture is one of my favorites. It is such fun to be able to play with the babies. Due to all of the problems in Bangkok the cruise ships are not calling there these days. T

It's just like me not to remember the pot of gold part!! Anyway, it's just a rhetorical fear, like, if they were real, they would be dang scary. Probably because I read too much too early, I was scared of certain fictional creatures when I was a child--flying monkeys, fairies, Santa's elves, Santa himself, leprechauns, scarecrows, and clowns of the hobo ilk. Pierrots and harlequins were okay.

Clowns are scary! Nothing irrational about that.

Seabreezes, you are quite lovely!

I've never liked clowns......and that was reinforced with a movie with doll clowns years ago which would attack while the child was sleeping......don't recall the name of the movie, but I recall and feel that emotion whenever I see a clown.

There was the clown doll in Poltergeist. That thing was creepy even when it wasn't trying to grab you from under the bed.

Sea, that is a lovely picture!!!

I love all this talk about what could possibly be in Emma's house lol. Are you sure there isn't a ferret loose in the neighborhood?

Speaking of scary clowns, there is a clown in Staten Island, I think or near by that is making random appearances on street corners at dusk and after dark.

It was a publicity stunt by a film company. They made the big reveal on Friday. Semi big news in NY.

I read there was speculation that it was (a film company), but never followed up on the story. That kind of spoils the fun lol.

Hope it's ok if I don't comment on creepy, scary clowns. I need to sleep tonight....

On another topic. So glad this DD is over. It seemed so long. I got in a good workout at the gym, got my hair done, caught up on laundry and stayed away from food.

Just had my protein shake and I think I'm gonna make it 'til an early bedtime.

I'm soooooooo looking forward to tomorrow's UD.

DH and I stopped on the way home from the gym to rent some movies from Redbox. One that I got just for me to watch tomorrow is "Frozen". My grand kids and kids have all seen it in theaters and I actually bought the DVD for my 14 year old grand daughter who loves it.

But they keep telling me I need to see it. So, in the interest of being a super terrific Gramma Yam-Yam, I'm planning to make a crackers and cheese snack, pour a glass of wine or leftover champagne from yesterday, and watch Frozen all by myself in the mid afternoon tomorrow!

DH thinks I'm a bit nutty. He keeps saying: but it's a cartoon. More like "it's a carrrr-toooooooon" emphasis on the toon and a bit whiny. LOL!!!

Is that a challenge? Because if there is a poop-based challenge, I WILL WIN! Especially if one of the rules is that you must see & photograph the poo yourself. Then I'm a shoe-in!

Favorite. Movie. Ever! We *cough, cough* found it online before it was released and watched it at least 3 times a week, prior to that 3 times in the theater and still pretty much the same frequency now that we own it. The monkey even met the girls

I love animated movies (carrrr-tooooons). I bought Frozen when it came out. I thought the visuals were very good and I really liked the character of Anna. I have to say, though, it didn't quite live up to the hype.
