Ahhh Tay I'm sorry. Is there something else going on with your body that might be causing you to retain water? If it's not TOM, I have heard some women gain during ovulation. I hope it turns around for you, whatever it is.

Continue Steak & Eggs Diet (6 days of only eating steak and eggs and then 1 day high carbs) for 4 weeks, last week
4/1 - 200.6, 2828 (2g carbs), 60 minutes of weight lifting and a 3.3 mile walk
4/2 - 198.2, 2537 (123g carbs), rest day
4/3 - 198, 2800 planned, weight lifting planned for later

I was unable to have my steak and eggs yesterday because of work functions, they did go out of their way to order gluten free sandwich and desert options, which I kinda felt obligated to have. Thought for sure it would cause some water weight gain but I was surprised it did not and in fact resulted in a slightly lower weight. I had the gluten free roast beef sandwich, 2 bags of potato chips (sea salt and then salt and vinegar), 2 fruit bowls and a gluten free chocolate cupcake. Once I got home I also ate off plan and had a bunch of nuts too, so I ended up at my maintenance calories. Don't think I could have gluten free carbs everyday and not gain, but it is good to know it didn't cause an unexpected gain if done occasionally.

Ugh! I went off plan again yesterday! I feel so bloated today. Today I am doing a mini-cleanse (psyllium husks to clean out the colon, milk thistle for liver support, senna tea to, ummm, help move things along, and dandelion root tea to eliminate water retention) -- and I am not weighing in again until tomorrow. Bleah.

I think I must be tired of steak and eggs, I keep making last minute decisions to eat something different. Had wings last night and I ordered a medium order, which is supposed to have 15 wings, and I didn't count them ahead of time and just ate what they gave me and it turned out to be 21 wings instead. So I went quite a bit over the planned, and I was stuffed but didn't realize I was stuffed until about 30 minutes after finishing.
