Sammy, Pat, and Emma thank you for the hugs and words. I just have a very complicated history with hormones derailing my JUDDD weight loss. But I'm not going to let it get me off plan this time even if it takes weeks to get the water weight off, which for me it usually does. I know JUDDD works even if I won't see results some weeks out of the month.

I notice a lot of us are on the same rotation! Cool! This is a DD for me and all I've had is my protein drink (180 cals). Feeling good today!

Hanging out at the house today. My dd works 3-8pm on Wednesdays so just lettin her take the car. It's in the 60's today so maybe I'll sit on the porch later with my granddaughter.

My rotations are starting to get wonky because of the plasma donations. So more often than not I am having an UD, a MD, and a DD; I have been weighing in every three days. So, no weigh in today. Maybe tomorrow or the next day. I have been cheating a bit with some homemade chana masala that I made (delish!~) and so I am out of ketosis again. Going to make the masala again later this week, but with zucchini and mushrooms instead of chickpeas. Less carbs!

April goal is still uncertain as I don't have new information about the sarcopenia, so this may be subject to change. I would like to lose some of the android fat (lower stomach) and maybe some more visceral fat (tho' as my natural waist is currently 24-25" I'm not sure where that is). I shall attempt to do this without fiddling too much with the macronutrient amounts that keep me migraine free, nor undoing the improvements of the reverse dieting.

I weigh after DDs.


1 April: 116lbs
3 April: 116lbs

Surprised at this as I'm migraine-y and carrying enough water for several camels: I thought I'd be around 118lbs.

Nov 2014 A DXA scan reported very low muscle mass (sarcopenia) so I'm still thinking about how to cope with that. I have some joint surgery to schedule. I may miss questions that people ask me or personals. Apologies if I do, it's not intentional.

The uproar at my home begins tomorrow with preparation of storage space and organizational work to prepare for the move-in date of 4-15. After Brian died I wanted to sell my big house but the market was not conducive to that. I think God had me stay here so I would be in a position to help a loved one. I trust Him. I know it will be much more difficult to JUDDD while out of my little routine. I think I am prepared.

I hate that you are dealing with raging hormones! I vaguely remember ..........

Tay, I feel your pain. This is happening to me, too. I've been gaining after my DDs now for weeks. I will sometimes have a loss after an UD and Monday after my DD, but yesterday after a 341 calorie DD I gained 1.2 pounds. Very frustrating! I've been taking two one-hour walks a day even on my DDs. I read exercise and severe calorie restriction both raise cortisol levels which contributes to water retention. I'm not sure what to do. I feel pretty sure the gains are water since I'm in a deficit.
