Hi! Back from my jollies.
I haven't had time to read anything on the forum yet, so I hope everyone is well and thriving happily.


I was pretty dismayed when I got on the scale last Wednesday but I wasn't too surprised by the number. Straight into the holiday, I started to look pregnant. That's the effect of flying, followed by yummy Spanish bread for brunch. We didn't overeat, by any system of reckoning but my lovely JUDDD waist gave up the ghost and my double chin was doing a "remember me?" routine by the end of the second week.

As you can see, now I'm back, JUDDD is working as beautifully as ever. Just another 10lbs to go ............

I'm completely thrilled that is all the damage I did on vacation! I ate what I wanted when i wanted it. BUT I was very active, so that helped.

I have my work cut out for me!

I love doing a small eating window on up days. I get that lean down-day feeling all day.

You're so right Emma! Most of what I ate yesterday made me feel genuinely ill (I wish I could remember this before I start shoveling my face) but when I woke up this morning I felt light and clean and have been fine fasting all morning. I may look into eating windows for UD's in general.

Yep. I had a day last week where I did the same thing. Felt horrible the next day. Often, I can deter myself from that by picturing the scale in the morning. Or just eating very very slowly until my fullness feeling kicks in. There are some days where I am just reckless, though.

Those of you who said you never had luck with a MD, you're so right!!!! I tried, I really did. I did great and breakfast and lunch and then blew it at dinner. So because I had to switch my rotations ended up with 2 UDs in a row. But happy that it didn't seem to do any real damage. Would LOVE to see me bounce back to my low on 4/12. Strict rotations this week are in order!

Woo hoo! FINALLY in the normal BMI category! (By a whopping .08 pounds, lol) Still, I'll take it!

I have discovered a diet-friendly way to get my hematocrit up for my plasma donations (high protein the day before I donate, plus iron & B-vitamin supplements).

I thought I had discovered a way to feel energetic and healthy after my donation as well (raspberry ketones, Kombucha tea, and cheese sticks), but today after my donation, I felt dizzy and almost fainted a few times. Ugh! I know it was hypovolemia. I need to drink more fluids immediately afterwards.

Tonight the most exercise I will be doing is walking the dog.
