deedee--Cool for you on the acupuncture. I've had it once...didn't mind it at all. I loved the experience of when the needle was placed in exactly the right spot, it just slipped in without any sensation whatsoever.
Eating out AGAIN tonight. Four days in a row. It's so hard to estimate calories. My social life is such a burden..sigh.

My plan (and I at least think it's brilliant) on days like this is to more or less IF and have one meal inside an hour. So, if I go over in cals (I have 336 if I want to stay at 20%), at least it was in a small timeframe and that may help.

B: green tea with lemon wedge
L: coffee with 1/2 & 1/2
D: either caesar salad with shrimp or bowl of avgolemono--decide when I get there.

Glad to hear you didn't find acupuncture painful Emma! I was a little worried about that.

Green, how is the RS working out for you? I stopped taking it after it made me feel a little off last weekend.

I think it's going well for me. Maybe too early to tell. I have been sleeping really well since starting though. Today will be my first DD though so we'll see if helps with my DD sleep troubles. Something is different with my mood and focus today. I just feel a sense of well-being... who knows if related to RS.

I began taking it on Saturday. 1 teaspoon 3 times throughout the day. I mixed crappy food with it on Saturday (UAUD). I slept soundly.

Yesterday, a MD, I had 1T divided into 2 doses a few hours apart before eating a late lunch. The rest of the day, I mostly snacked: quest protein bar, kombucha, popcorn at the carwash, a green apple, bowl of Puffins cereal, pistachios, rice crackers and hummus, cooked then cooled par-boiled rice... haha am I giving TMI? Oh, and I slept soundly again.

How were you feeling off? How long had you been taking it?

I have to go grocery shopping this afternoon for the new place - I'll pick up something healthy - maybe a great salad!

I need a great DD after having two UDs. We were moving this weekend, and I really needed the extra fuel!

Oooo, forgot about the plan ol' protein powder in water. I remember feeling quite full after drinking those. Maybe I'll try one for lunch and one for dinner, then call it a day.

Well, I wasn't planning on starting JUDDD again today so I had nothing planned. But, I think I'm going to end up ok.

B: Coffee, powder creamer 40
L: "pasta" 100 c
D: "pasta" 100 c; roasted asparagus w/ olive oil 100 c

340 Total. Depending on how I feel, I'll allow myself up too 500. I'm just going to have to raid my pantry as I have completely forgotten what I used to use as DD staples and haven't counted a calorie in a long time. I'm also trying to watch the carbs, so no clue what I'll end up eating.

*So, I made that "pasta" that's really popular on the low-carb recipe board. I can't for the life of me figure out the calories. It's been posted as anything from 16 calories to 23 calories per serving. It does use one egg, along with the gluc and the other "flours" so for my two servings, I'm guesstimating at 40 calories. I added about 60 cal of tom sauce so I'm kind of guessing at 100 cal. I hope I'm not too far off.

My DD turned out way different than I planned.

We arrived at our lovely hotel at 6:15 pm.

We have access to the vip club room where they serve lovely food and wine.

So, instead of my protein shake, I opted for some roasted chicken and a small salad. oh, and a glass of wine.

Entered everything in my calorie counter and it added up to 417 calories.

That's way above what I've been having on DDs lately, but it was totally lovely and totally worth it.

I was not even hungry all day, so it was easy to stop eating. Especially when starting off with the protein. I ate 3 ounces of lean chicken breast before the salad or wine. I think I did great. I don't expect the scale to go down much tomorrow though.
