Back after gaining 10 pounds.



I can't even wrap my mind around it, because I tried (and LOVED) and was successful on JUDDD just about a year ago. I was soooo thin and felt great, all the time.

And I fell off the wagon hard. Jumped off. Dove off head first.

Now I have to lose 10 pounds. Grrrrr. I'm going to slowly start fasting every day again (because what got me - again - was starting to eat all day again - rather than the "Fast 5" way) and eating low carb, just to get some of the bloat off.

I'm hoping to start JUDDD again in a few days, once I get some regular fasting under my belt.

I'm so mad at myself.

Hello desertgirl! And back! Looks like a few of us have found ourselves back on the JUDDD train after some time off. I was gone for the past six months or so, and gained a solid 25 pounds. So I can definitely relate.

I also loved JUDDD, but I think I was getting fatigued with fasting, and instead of taking a break, I just gave up. I also had a ton of hormonal issues that were totally out of my control, but nothing that justified the way I was eating the past six months. I've been back on JUDDD one week and I'm already feeling better.

Don't be mad at yourself! I understand why you feel that way (and I do too, whenever I think about how much I have to lose just to get back where I already was), but it's not helpful. Plus you're already taking the first important step just by being here.

First of all, you are a success because you have stopped the "madness" and found your way back here. Lots of us have the history of giving up, giving in, and just staying heavy and unhealthy. WTG!

Second, we all have the urge to feel guilty and bad about gaining back what was so hard-won. But it doesn't do any good to do that to yourself, truly. Acknowledge it, own up to it, and then move forward with your good intentions and positive outlook. You did it before, so you know you can do it again!

Don't beat yourself up. There is a lot of support here for you. I did the same thing last year and now I am re-losing weight I gained back.

You'll be back in the swing of things in no time.

Welcome back desertgirl! I had the same thing happen, I didn't dive off I just kind of slowly slid off and now I have to do the work to lose the weight again. Thankfully all the support is still here and JUDDD too.

So glad you're back, and count me in as one of those who put on extra weight at the end of last year.

It's only a matter of 8 lbs., but on my body, it shows up as much more.
I felt disappointed in myself, too, but then reflected on how much fun I had from the beginning of October through January and that took some of the edge off.

I feel at home with JUDDD, and know that it works, so I simply go with the flow and relax with it, and know that it is all OK.

Please don't feel angry with yourself; rather give yourself credit for having come back to JUDDD!

I hear ya. I didn't gain 10 lb, probably 8 though, and it feels like 20.

I LOVED Juddd as well, and it felt so easy and I thought for sure I could do it forever. And then it just fell apart, and I did not know why. Maybe it was diet fatigue in general. It made no sense to me. I am back on too, and loving it again. Hopefully this time I don't get tired of it.

i lost a lot of weight doing juddd for 3 months and had succeed to keep it off for 8 months counting every calorie i put in my mouth but in only 2 weeks i binged and regain most of it i feel frustrated ,tired but i won't give up ..having healthy life isn't easy anyway

desertgirl, according to your stats you were 4 lbs under goal, so on the bright side you only have 6 lbs to get back to goal!
