It can do that for some people. Better to quit the soda before it becomes an addiction.

I very seldom have a diet soda these days, although I do use Artificial Sweeteners, mostly Splenda. It is the rest of the junk in them that I try to avoid, as a rule.

Goal for March: to get under 13 stone and stay there! I've dipped under a couple of times in the last 6 months, but never sustained it for more than a few days, so I really want to keep moving downwards this time. If I could make it down to 12st9 or lower, that would be amazing.

1/3 (UD) - 13st1 (new low)
2/3 (DD) - 13st1 and 3/4
3/3 (UD) - 13st1 and 1/4

I get the following figures for the no to low exercise, 20% weight loss mode calculation:
UD: 1532
DD: 306

But, running it again, I get:
1745/349

My first day on JUDDD - I am excited to see how it goes. I am taking a break from hcg and have done some intermittent fasting before - so I am excited to try it full-time.

JUDD is new to me....I have spent the last hour reading (lurking here!) and googling JUDD and what it's all about. I think this is exactly what I have been looking for! I have been re-reading my copy of Carbohydrate Addict's Diet. It occurred to me that Rachel Heller discovered this way of eating (by accident, she notes) because she had to go without eating one day due to a doctor's procedure that required that she not eat until after the appointment. Basically, she fasted.

So, I thought, to recreate that experiment should yield the same type of results.

Then, I came across the reference to JUDD. Amazing!

Now, I will be looking for tips and motivation from those of you who have done IF or JUDD for a while. Here I go......

Well my daddy passed away Sept 1 hubby was in ICU in Nov (he is doing fine now) then my mother in law passed away a year and a month later....So its just been alot to deal with then I had surgery in July ...So Im hoping we get a break now...

Goals for March include maintaining between 120-125lbs (this may be adapted when I have more data about my body composition).

I weigh after DDs.

March 1: 118.2lbs (new low)
March 4: 118.0lbs (new low)

I'm below the range but as I've had a migraine followed by a bug since last Tuesday, this is not too surprising. Plus, the lower part of the range is more of a guideline whereas the top is non-negotiable and I weigh after DDs which probably makes the range for those more like 117-123lbs.

ETA: I'll be away for a couple of days from tonight so probably won't weigh in again until Saturday

Dec 2014 A DXA scan reported very low muscle mass (sarcopenia) so I'm still thinking about how to cope with that. I have some joint surgery to schedule. I may miss questions that people ask me or personals. Apologies if I do, it's not intentional.
