Hi Patkid - - I agree with you... I was hungry all week on DD's... especially on 3/18... I even took a nap to remove myself from the hunger then woke up to the same.... this is what happens 2 wks before TOM.... such a challenge... can't wait till this is over, but what I've heard from friends... this doesn't always happen, the hormones still fluctuate... Oh well I'm rampling...

Completely blew my DD yesterday because I had to eat dinner much earlier than I wanted, so I felt really hungry later on.

I've been struggling this week, and I can't even say why. I think, I just needed a break from counting calories. But somehow, this hasn't caused much harm, weightwise. So I'm back on track and so far, my DD today feels really good. And now on to losing some weight this month!

Dawn - re your TOM issues, try taking naproxen: Reduction by naproxen of excessive menstrual ... [Obstet Gynecol. 1981] - PubMed - NCBI
I had this prolonged issue (4 months +) when going through perimenopause and naproxen is what stopped it. I would also suggest taking iron supplements if it's gone on more than a couple of weeks - although it's a bandaid over a bullet wound. Best of luck to you.

I don't really know what to say about this...
Plans yesterday changed, after a day of big eating I was asked to go out for Italian, lots of pasta bread, desert and a little wine. My estimate for the day is around 3800 kcals, but to this add 900 kcals of mct, I took my little bottle to the restaurant and had it on everything, I used 100g during the whole day.
I was expecting a 5 lb bounce, especially as this was my second UUD. The result, no change? And I slept like a baby..

Today will be another UD, will try to keep this one on track, as I need my DD's to start tomorrow to fit in with my lunch meetings next week.

I've read a lot about MCT, most of it contradictory. It still makes me feel a little weird, and leaves a taste in my mouth, but I'm getting used to that. Found a reasonably cheap source too.

The experiment continues......
